Fixed my pool pump not starting
My above-ground pool pump is only a few years old. After getting it connected this spring and having it run for a couple of weeks, I turned it off to adjust the filter selection valve and when I turned it back on, the motor hummed but did not run.I opened the motor's back cover and checked that the shaft turned easily, so it wasn't that the impeller was stuck. I then discharged and removed the motor starter capacitor. It was marked as 124-149 uF and measured as 125 uF. While technically "in spec", that made it the likely reason for the motor not starting.I ordered this replacement part, and it came the next day. After a quick install, the motor started right up. A $15 and 5-minute fix saved me > $400 to replace the pump motor (it's a dual speed, 1.5HP motor)!

Works But uF is Not Accurate
I bought this as a replacement capacitor for my 3/4 HP sta-rite well pump. The old capacitor was rated for 124-148 uF. This item was the closest I found for an exact replacement. I measured the capacitance and it came in at ~160 uF. It still works for my needs but the capacitance is off by a little. This could be attributed to manufacturing variances akin to the silicone lottery, I'm not sure. Just be aware. It works well so 5 stars for that but minus 1 star for the inaccurate capacitance.

Funciona muy bien
Mi well pump murio y todos los que la miraban decían que ya era basura, gracias a youtube encontré un problema común en la mayoría así que estaba buscando uno igual al que quite pero el único que encontré lo mandaban de canada, ordene este como último recurso ya que lo mandaban al día siguiente y mi alma regreso a mi cuerpo cuando la conecte y revivió el motor.

CHEAP. FAILED IN TWO MONTHS
Product failed in less than 2 months. Prior to changing this out the previous one was there for at least a decade. I have changed this start capacitor out 3 times in 6 months. Two of them came from this company.

Pump motor wouldn't start
