Great for backpacking!
We took these on a 164 mile backpacking trip of the River to River Trail in Illinois. They worked perfectly for hooking our smartwater bottles with our electrolyte mixes to our packs. They were easy to take on and off, while in constant motion. Even over rough terrain, the bottles stayed connected - full or empty. As someone trying to hike lighter, these were the perfect piece of gear.

breaks-.- apart
The product breaks apart when in use and when I called the inventor he said my Aqua Clips don't break.Well sir half of these did break. He said send them back to me.I said to him send just send a a few Aqua Clips and we will even.He Said no. Now I must go out and buy a package, bubble pak, drive to the Postoffice and pay to have it shiped back to Mr. Aqua Clip inventor.I give up.!!!!

These will only work with store-bought water bottles (as shown in the photos), not any type of of BPA-Free sports-type water bottles. I guess I didn't study the description well enough. The plastic clips are rigid. Have to return them.

Useful, but Over the Top in Expense
My review is an average of two extreme feelings; a solid 5 for usability, but a 1 for pricing. Sure, it's good and useful, but it can't cost more than a cent or two to produce these, and the price they charge is outrageously high.

Great Idea: Very Useful
This will be great for travel, riding a bike or just walking around. Secures solidly on the bottle, quality workmanship and very handy. I would have given it 5 stars had the price been somewhat lower.

Simple product thats works like a charm!!!
My girlfriends and I decided to go to South Carolina and hike the Table Rock Trail for my 40th birthday. I decided to give these a shot based on the other reviews I saw. So we snapped our water bottles in them along with spare waters in our back packs and off we went. After miles of steep climbing and 4 water bottles later I was in love with this simple product. It kept my hands free for climbing or taking pictures yet i didn't have to constantly reach back into my back pack for my water. It was right there for a quick grab when I needed it. I was concerned that with the bottle attached the plastic would dig into my side and irritate me but it never did. Each one of us girls had one and we used the heck out of them. As a matter of fact they each took theirs home and would not give it back to me when we were done. Needless to say I will be buying more for my next hiking adventure.

(1) Poor quality; (2) poor customer service
AQUA CLIP - do not buy this: (1) Poor quality; (2) poor customer service. I will explain.I purchased numerous Aqua Clips --they are a super design and idea, but they break. Every Aqua Clip I have used has broken at the clip that holds the bottle. Yes, I follow the instructions carefully when inserting and dismounting the bottle. They still break, because the plastic is too weak to repeatedly clip onto and off of a bottle. The "L" shape is unique, and a super idea for clipping to jeans, packs, airline seat pockets, etc.: I just wish the product was of better quality.Second, I e-mailed the owner of the company twice about this and received zero response. There are numerous products out there that clip a water bottle, and they do not have the unfortunate flaw that Aqua Clip does. For example, search these on Amazon:"(2) Water Bottle Holders W/ Blue Aluminum Carabiner Attachments""Carabiner Water Bottle Holder Clip Camping Hiking Outdoor Travel Buckle Aluminum by ATB""Chums ClipBottleHolder (Assorted Colors) by Chums""ZITRADES 4pcs/lot Convenient Carrying Alloy Water Bottle Holder Carabiner Hook Buckle by ZITRADES""Aluminum Carabiner With Water Bottle Holder Attachment"

Very good if you know their limitations
I like them.Arrived quickly. Tried several water bottles while bouncing around the house. OK with no belt, but much better with a belt. Didn't try them in a pocket but I suspect that a full pocket would help. Like your wallet pocket to steady them.1/2 liter works fine. Pretty secure with fairly aggressive bouncing.1 liter OK with standard walking but it doesn't take much jumping around to break loose, however I suspect this is more of a flimsy bottle issue than the clip. The bottle bends and slips out and stays bent. I'll have to experiment with heaver plastic bottles.1 1/2 liter bottles work with light hiking, but realistically are probably beyond this tool, but the issue may be the same as the 1 liter bottles. As a volunteer for the local National forest I tend to carry a couple of spare 1/2 liter bottles and give them away on the trails. People always seem to underestimate their needs. Especially with kids or dogs. These things are perfect for this.
