So I researched for quite a while on a hammock stand. Everything from bowing to caving in. I wasn't ideally sold at spending a good chunk of money on some metal that would snap. So I chose this and I'm happy I did. Comes with a bag for storage which is nice for winter time. Set up was quick and easy. We have the quilted flat waterproof hammock, not the burrito looking ones. Its a bit heavier but I was happy to see it fit quite well. Me and my kids can all fit on it and that's like 200 pounds. No bending or poles snapped. Moving it is a breeze and you could easily take this somewhere with you if you wanted with the bag thats included. It's been up for 2 months with plenty of use and life. The most weight we've tested was 2 people at 360lbs and it was fine. **Two years later it is still going strong. Been outside all 2 summers and stored in the winter (the bag is a huge plus) plus a few wind storms. There is a little rust by the pin holes but nothing insane. Great product!

Bought this to use with an ENO hammock. Took me quite a while to figure out how to rig it up, but I got it figured out after a while. Product assembles quick and seems pretty sturdy.

Set up was easy and quick. Stand is pretty sturdy, just don't lay down too close to either of the clasp points or it may turn over with you in it.

We have had this hammock stand for about a month now and my wife uses this hammock stand daily with no issues. We have never had a hammock stand before but this one seems fine so far. The sides of the frame flex inward a little bit from the weight when someone gets into the hammock (wife is 115 lb and I am about 200 lb) but it still seems strong enough for one very large person or two smaller people, not sure if I would take a chance testing the 550 lb. rating though based upon how the sides flex inward when I get into it. Hopefully the poles flexing when people get in and out will not cause a problem over time, but right now it seems like a great hammock stand for the price.

I placed the order through Amazon and the delivery expected date was later than I was hoping. No one’s fault but my own could have ordered sooner, but it was a last-minute purchase for my grandkids to enjoy during their visit. I sent an email to the company and asked if there was any way they could expedite my shipment so I would have it in time to enjoy. Without any questions they gladly offered to assist, and my new hammock stand arrived in just a couple of days. Upon receiving the hammock stand we opened it up and was able to put together with ease, and it is working out perfectly for our needs!! Everything comes apart to fit nicely into a bag so we could take it camping. It is a bit heavy but it is strong to hold up 2 people in a hammock. Definitely what we were looking for and very happy with product.

I bought this for desert camping in my hammock (no trees!). It arrived the afternoon before I left for the trip. I assembled it for the first time on the desert floor as the daylight was fading. The instructions are small and difficult to see important details about the differences between and orientation of each piece, but it's really not too complicated. I figured it out quickly enough. An extra set of hands would be helpful but I managed fine on my own. I was glad I brought a tarp to assemble it on and keep my gear clean. It held my double-wide Eagles Nest Outfitters hammock just fine for two nights with no issues. Teardown was easy to do alone. I am worried that the zipper on the bag provided won't last very long as the metal poles are big, bulky, and heavy... time will tell. I'll update here if I encounter any issues in the future. So far so good!
