These work great for doodling. They have good tips but I haven't had to sharpen them yet. I like that both ends are sharp and each piece is labeled with the size. Good value for someone just getting started with doodling.

I love the quality of blending these provide. I've purchased a fair amount of these in the past, and these are by far my favorite. Excellent value for the money. Very well made. The sharpening tool works excellently and I love that it's included with the kit. Various sizes for various needs. They give you that smooth shading that you desire. They're super versatile of course... Depending on your preference of art, these really cover all the bases for me!

The material is great for blending charcoal and charcoal/graphite combo. These seem to hold up well. The varied sizes ensure that you are covered from large background blending through to fine detail. Sharpening pad works well and there are plenty of sheets. Fine sandpaper or emery cloth works too.
