Does it have an expiration date?

Natural salts lasts forever. Pink Himalayan salt should be over millions of years old, before humans even walked the earth. There is no expiration for salt.

Short Answer:No; with the exception of the Himalayan Pink depending on use/personal taste.Long Answer:The Black & Red Hawaiian salts are fine grain, approximately 1mm in size. They can work as either a finishing salt or table salt. They do not need to be ground and in fact may not work in a grinder.The French Grey salt is slightly irregular with grains from 1-3mm due to the way it's made. It is also a bit moist and therefore not recommended to be used in a grinder as it may clog/rust metal parts. It's recommended as a finishing salt and can be used in cooking (it will dissolve in water for boiling pasta as an example). It can add a nice crunch, and for some users may be a table salt replacement.The Himalayan Pink salt is a 2-3mm medium grain that should work in most grinders. It would need to be ground before use as table salt. It's also great as-is for rubs on larger cuts of meat.Our flavored salts (Infused, Indulgent, etc) are not recommended for use in a grinder. They have varying grain sizes and because they are blended with other ingredients for flavor they may clog, discolor, or add odor to grinders. Plus, the intensity of flavor may be lost during cooking if ground into smaller pieces. Of course, some of our more adventurous customers may have had success with a grinder, garlic press, etc - we'd love to hear from you!Also, keep in mind that plain shaker salt grains can be as small as 0.33-0.5mm in size. Therefore, our "fine" salts may be slightly larger. As always, use sparingly for taste - you can always add more! Experience will vary depending on use, recipes, personal taste, etc. Customers can always jump right into our 2oz or 4oz options but we also offer a 12g sample size.

What is the difference in small classic, medium, and indulgent ?  all say 2 oz, but prices are different.  thanks

The small classic is 2oz. packs the medium is 4oz.. packs and the indulgent is 2 oz. flavored salts.
