More Decorative than Functional
I guess if one serves a nice tea, these are the towels for you; however, although pretty and old fashioned in style, we find limited use for them and a prohibitive price.I like the design and various colors offered. They exude a time passed and have a finer quality to them. My wife thought to use them for cleaning- but there's no way. These are good for show and light duty, e.g., wipe your hands or dab a small spill or just display them. The price will keep us from buying more for any reason. Overall, a nice looking product, well made, unique colors but too specialized for us.

Gorgeous color and high quality linen; am using off label as a shawl and hair wrap.
I bought these after seeing them on Vine and falling in love with the color. I paid 36$ for them although the price has gone up since. Once I got them I was too fond of the quality of the linen and the color to use them as tea towels. I sewed the 2 together end to end and use this as a shawl. Sounds silly but I get a ton of compliments on it every time I use it. I have also used these (sewn together) as a hair wrap after shower for my very long hair. These towels are very absorbent. I washed them in my front loader and line dried with very little loss of dye. They line dried beautifully.High quality fabric is so expensive these days that this is actually a fairly reasonable price for the fabric alone. I'd urge you to look at remnant prices at Joann's or any other fabric store. I am very pleased with this purchase. The linen and the wonderful color makes me happy just to look at and touch it.

Impractical
I'm not sure what exactly you would use these tea towels for other than decorative purposes as they are useless for almost everything else. The material isn't very absorbent so you wouldn't use them for drying dishes, washing dishes, or any of the other traditional towel uses. As an accent, the towels are pretty... until they are washed. Yes, I expected them to be wrinkled but I didn't expect some of the color bleeding based on the washing instructions. And speaking of the washing instructions, they suggest ironing afterwards. Overall, these towels are pretty but completely impractical.

Old World Charm
Liked the presentation of these right off the bat. They aren't wrapped, It's a very simple presentation, yet charming. Towels came wrapped in a straw bow. I wasn't big on the color presented on the page but in person they look a lot more appealing. Rustic yet vibrant in color, unique as well. 40 bucks is a bit steep but there is something simple yet perfect about this set. Unable to describe in words, intangible understated elegance. Would make a nice addition to a basket or presented on any table. The material is super soft and they're a good size as well. Was really looking forward to receiving these considering the polarizing opinions, but now that I see them in person, I'm a fan. The material of the towels is on the thin side but there's something about these I like. Pretty presentation with Old World Charm. They're simple yet lovely.

Beautiful, but Not Functional
These towels are absolutely lovely. I wish I had enough of this fabric to make myself a blouse out of it. Seriously, it's gorgeous. Very soft, lightweight linen in a beautiful, natural orange color. For looks, I give these towels 5 stars. However: they do not absorb water at all. That's what I use a tea towel for: to dry dishes that I handwash, and to dry my hands after I wash them in the kitchen. This towel was not so great for that purpose. It's so pretty, though. I think I will cut it up and make napkins out of it.

lovely color
I first want to rave about the color of these tea towels. They are the most perfect modern, energetic without being too " loud " shade of orange . The khaki stripe is the perfect extra touch. The tea towels are soft but still crisp. They are generously sized. These are virtually lint free so their great for drying your glassware, barware or stemware.I am using mine as decor in my tiny kitchen I love the pop of color they provide. My one and only quibble is they seem a tiny bit overpriced. I also want to mention they come folded neatly tied with twine...and wrapped in thin cheesy plastic. If you intend these for a gift have them sent to you first so you can take them out of the plastic.
