Bunion Corrector for Women and Men, Big Toe Straightener. Med-Right

This review is after giving this product a second wearing. I didn't care for it the first time I tried it, but after a bit of time had passed I gave it another chance. Boy, am I ever glad I did, because this time I loved it! Everything that bothered me about it the first time seems to have disappeared. On my second wearing, I found it fits very well (my shoe size is 8M, so I ordered a Medium); it doesn't rub or pinch anywhere; it's light in weight, but gently and firmly holds my big toe away from my other toes without pushing on those toes; it is comfortable enough to wear in bed all night; and it is virtually undetectable when worn in a shoe. The only complaint I still have is that, as I am a restless sleeper, it tends to come off in bed; however, I solved that problem by wearing a light sock over it, which holds the device in place and stays comfortable all night. That may be a bit warm in summer, but I'll worry about that when the time comes. Until then, I am thrilled with this little jewel! I plan to buy several more, since washing and wearing will undoubtedly cause stretching over time.

I was hoping for at least a little bit of pull on the big toe, away from the second toe, but nothing at all. It’s a snug fit and if all you want is a lightweight cover for the toe and joint maybe it works for that. No help for me.

When I first got this and started wearing it, I didn't think I was going to like it. Honestly, it was uncomfortable and kind of hurt but I saw the recommendation to wear it for only like an hour or two when you first start wearing it, so I decided to give it a few more tries to see if I just needed to get used to it. I'm so glad I did! It has definitely helped reduce the pain caused by my bunion. I walk on a treadmill every morning and try to work out 3-4 times per week in addition to that. I'm also currently playing in a volleyball league once a week and had just started experiencing a lot more pain in my foot from the bunion. I decided to put this on during my activities and genuinely felt so much relief! This is definitely not meant to be a permanent fix but I find that it does a great job of bringing temporary relief and reducing overall pain associated with having a bunion. I don't have any issues wearing the sleeve with socks and tennis shoes like I've seen mentioned in some of the other reviews. Overall I would recommend that you give it a chance if you're looking for some pain relief!

This did not for for me. In addition to bunions, I have swelling in the feet. This made the swelling worse because of the way it fit. If you do not have this problem, it may work for you. It would be worth trying.

This works so much better than any separator you can buy. I have read some of the negative reviews and I do not agree at all. I use these for every day wear as well as high tempo walking 3-6 miles a day. If I felt a little odd sensation on the big toe, I trimmed the seam really close and had no issue but I would just be sure you are getting the right size. If you have it on properly, there should be no way it can rub or cause friction on the toe. Make sure it is aligned so there are no wrinkles in the toe and it lays nice and flat. Perhaps also, break it in just as you would an orthodic device if you have super sensitive feet. I have very dry and calloused feet and have NO issues with this product. Extremely high quality and I have ordered several. I put them through a lot with my exercise regimen and they last and wash well. My very first one is showing it bit of wear but it has been worn well and washed weekly for well over a year.

It arrived in a little pouch with the “How to” and care instructions on it. It looks just like the picture. I wear a size 8.5-9 (women’s shoe size) and bought the medium, which fits just right. As others have mentioned, it kind of has the texture pantyhose, so I can see it easily getting snagged. I would just wear a sock or slippers as others have said. And you could get away with it on with the right pair of shoes to cover it or wear tights. As far as pain relief, it does help out a lot. I stand on my feet the majority of the day so some days are worse than others when it comes to the pain in the joint of my big toe. I don’t have the constant pain yet or issues with shoes that can come from bunions that would cause me to see a podiatrist. Again, not yet. I thought I would give this a try and see if it can help adjust things any and to help with pain relief when I need it. So, so far so good. I do not see this product helping as much for someone with severe pain, or to even be used as a “corrector”. I would say this is more so for someone who experiences discomfort every now and then to mild pain. Can’t hurt to try though.

did not align the big toe

I was getting really worried about a growing bunion getting worse and larger. After getting this bunion corrector I’m so confident my bunion won’t be getting bigger anytime soon! The slip on sleeve is very comfortable, as if it’s not even there, super light and i am confident it’s doing it’s job! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sleek and comfortable alternative to those big, clunky bunion splints or the past

Seemed to help at first, but then the seam at the end of the toe piece started irritating my big toe so much and I had to stop using it. Trying to relieve one problem, only to create another. Would not recommend - and very overpriced for what it is.

Great, easy to put on, washable, can wear in any footwear. Go slow to start, take time for muscles, etc to adjust to the change,

I had immediate relief from bunion pain when I put this on. I can wear it comfortably all day, in my shoes, and at night.
