Tablet Wall Mount with Integrated Power Cable, Pro Version Black, Fits Fire 7

This mount is well designed and functional. It attaches easily to a 1 gang wall box or low voltage plate, and even allows it to be tilted slightly to level it. Includes screws and anchors for direct wall mounting too.The ribbon cable included doesn't seem to provide enough power to charge from dead, but will maintain a charge. I'm guessing it doesn't have the data cables needed to negotiate power delivery - so it seems to default to 500ma charging.I saw after I ordered that it's 3D printed, which is cool. But I wish it were printed in PETG or ABS - something that will actually hold up to a little abuse. It's printed in PLA and is brittle and may warp in higher temperature environments.

I just added a Vivint home security system and wanted an upstairs tablet. Vivint didn’t want to give me or install an additional tablet for upstairs. So I decided to try … I picked up a Amazon Fire Tablet 8 Black Friday I deal. I think the Wall Mount cost as much as the tablet…But it turned out GREAT it’s way more versatile than than Vivint tablet as I can control Vivint-Sonos-WYZE-Phillips Hue-The Fire Tablet comes with the Amazon Smart Home Dashboard it’s actually much more robust than the Vivint tablet

This mount is 3D printed (as stated in the description) and when compared to other tablet mounts available on amazon does come in quite a bit cheaper than the other options. However, if you've never held a 3D printed object, which is formed basically from heated plastic/polymers stacked on top of each other, the item has the look of a very "grainy" piece of plastic, almost like the scaffolding material that would hold parts to a toy plane kit. It's not just not very nice looking and doesn't feel nice either.

I have previously purchased couple of these for my Fire Tablet 7 release 9 2019 and works perfect however I purchased a FireTablet 7 2022 Release 12 and IT DOES NOT FIT NOR THE POWER CABLE.Bottom line works for older versions but not the 2022 units as description says works for all and current.

I'm really liking this mount for the Fire 7 Tablet. I've got Actiontiles configured with Smartthings for a great all-home dashboard in our entryway. I wish there was a little easier way to get it out when I need to but can also see how this would work good in a public setting because it is so hard to get the case apart.

Case is good, usb was good. I cut the usb and soldered it to a cat5 to run to the attic where I soldered the other end and plugged it into an outlet in the attic. Now works great.

Easy to install, fits the fire tablet 7 perfectly. I actually bought another one since the first one looked so good.

i used it to mount a fire tablet to the wall and it works well.
