The shelves are real wood; nothing super heavyweight and not laquered, but it works for the look I wanted. There are no guide holes for the screws, but the wood is soft enough to allow manual assembly. I didn't use the top or bottom cactus because they would not fit on the cabinet, but they are sturdy enough by themselves to be upcycled into a home decoration. Overall; don't put anything super heavy on these, but they are well thought out and cute!

As stated before, this is a nice looking shelf once its up. Getting it up wasn't the easiest and the directions were not great. The screws provided were really low quality and will strip or just chip apart if you torque them a little. I opted to use my own drywall anchors instead of the ones provided because I never trust the plug style anchors that were provided. If possible work from the top down when installing each piece, its just hard screwing the shelves to the holders when they are in the wall but then its impossible to mount them all to the wall if they are all connected so pick your poison.

Bought this for my wife and it went up in less than 20 minutes. Looks great as the images Amazon. Highly recommend this shelf unit.

This is a super cute shelf that was easy to assemble. The wood is very lightweight which is my only concern about sturdiness. Having said that, thus far it is doing well supporting a number of items in it’s mounted space. When assembling, keep in mind that you need to line up the cactus so that they stay in line vertically along the shelves. This is somewhere you could potentially have issues as the wood shelves are not predrilled for the cactus. You could definitely bring it out of square in the corner of the room if you weren’t paying attention during assembly. We built the shelf and then hung in the corner. By constructing and mounting in the corner at the same time, I think this would help with this concern. Overall, I like the shelf and would recommend, just think through your construction before starting!

You need 2 people to install. It's a bit difficult to juggle all of the pieces and try to level things yourself. But it's super sturdy after you drill it to the wall.

This floating cactus corner shelf looks really cool! It doesn't take too long to install, it's sturdy and attractive, and it works for any room in the house. It saves space and is useful for storing and displaying my frames, stones, candles and arts/crafts pieces. It's able to hold a decent amount of weight, and the quality isn't bad.

The shelves were a little smaller than i thought, but then I could have measured. They look super cute. I don't think the wood is of great quality but the shelves still add a wow factor to that corner of the room so I'm satified.

I didn't require all the scheves so modified it somewhat . Used in both bathrooms. Very Nice.

Very long lead time with little information about shipping. When it finally arrived and opened the box, one of the shelves was scratched, pictured attached. Assembled in 15 minutes, and installed in a little bit more because requires adjustment and alignment on the corner. Looks decent on the wall, I am using it for DVD’s but I don’t feel comfortable to put more weight such as a flower pot. Overall, a fair price for the quality, except for the scratches, of course.
