Great products, works really well!
Great solar pump with backup battery for cloudy days. It worked straight from the box once placed into bird bath. Had to try the different nozzles to see which one was the best, as the first combination worked so well it left the bath with no water in it. That's not the pumps fault it was just that bath wasn't large enough to deal with some of the bigger sprays. Easy to set up. Great value for money, as I saw a similar one in a garden centre which was much more expensive. Highly recommend!

LOVELY WATER FEATURE THAT WORKS WELL
I bought this solar water feature to replace a really old one that had stopped working. It is a lovely water feature and it works really well. The water goes pretty high (I used the head that has lots of holes in it). It comes with changeable fountain heads so that you can change the effect of the water (one long jet, a small fountain jet, a shower jet etc). I only have one gripe really (only a small one), when using the head with multiple holes in it, the water goes so high that it was continuously splashing out of the bowl and inadvertently watering the garden! I had to top up the container with water three times in one day! I think I will have to change the head to one that doesn't splash quite so much - well, I am on a water meter! I think if you have a wider bird bath or container, then this shouldn't be an issue (I may have to get myself a wider one). What I love about it, is that it has battery back up and so even if it is cloudy, it still works. It doesn't work at night because below a certain light level, it doesn't operate. The pump also has a really handy cut-out on it, so in the event your bird bath/container runs out of water, the pump automatically stops, hence protecting the motor. I'm very pleased with the solar fountain and I could definitely recommend it.

Great little solar fountain.
Great little solar fountain, bought along side a preformed pond. Does the job perfectly and with the in built batteries, the fountain carries on well after the sun moves off the pond. Plenty of spray options so overall a great purchase.

Easiest form of solar fountain
In previous years we've had various forms of solar powered fountain pump for our birdbath but they were a separate pump and a panel at the end of a cable. Both ended up with connecting cable being damaged. Also they weren't backed by a rechargeable battery so as soon as the sun went behind a cloud the pump stopped. This unit is much better. It's all in one piece so there's no messy cables. The battery that keeps it going is great. It's also far more powerful than those other options which can be a bit wishy washy. If anything it's perhaps too efficient because it can have a habit (in a small breeze) of pumping the water so high it gets blown sideways out of the birdbath. It would help if there'd been some kind of regulator /volume control to tone it down a bit. But the sound of trickling water in the garden is always very soothing. Now there is one issue with all these solar fountains when used in a birdbath and that is that pigeons, crows, starlings, blackbirds don't only use it as a bath. To put it politely, they use it as a lavatory too. For all these pumps, that basically have the same kind of grid where the water goes in, it only takes a week or two before it begins to block because it is sucking in the "solids" that the birds leave in the birdbath. So you will have to be ready to clean things fairly regularly. Perhaps an old, unused toothbrush or something like that? A perfect design for this kind of pump would actually see the whole mechanism enclosed in a gauze metal cage so nothing can get close to the pump inlet. Maybe some manufacturer will have that idea one day? Anyway this is best of several pumps we've tried over the years so I'd highly recommend it. (oh and the birdbath we have is that very same green one they show in the demo video - one might argue that the pump is just a fraction too powerful for that size of birdbath)

Needs full sun really
The water detection works well and I like that it stops when it gets darker, rather than running until the battery is flat but I'm a little disappointed with the performance in anyrhing but full, durect sunlight. The solar panel is large and there's battery storage but even in the recent baking hot weather, in a south facing location, the fountain does not run continuously. I liked the idea of having no cables but if I do this again, I think I'd go for one with a separate solar panel that can be mounted to maximise sun exposure.

Great product, but mine was faulty.
An excellent product which works even on the dullest of days. All my previous solar fountains required full sun and even then worked intermittently. The battery backup is very effective storing enough power for a few minutes on cloudy days. However, the fountain stopped working entirely, even in full sun, after only two weeks. Had it continued to work, I would not have hesitated to give 5 stars!

Excellent solar powered fountain .
wanted a small self-contained water feature and after reading loads of reviews we chose this Solar powered fountain. Well...for the money it is absolutely superb! Literally all you do is take it out of the box, put it in your chosen water holder (we used an old water-butt stand turned upside down) and in seconds it is working... choose the fountain that suits you (the four hole spray works best for us) and there you go. In bright sunshine it sends water a good 18 inches up, on cloudy days not as high but still a pleasing fountain. review written after 8 weeks, remains to be seen how long it will work for but so far we are really pleased with this fountain

Some things just make you smile...
...like the sound of fountain water sprinkling back into a bird bath. I have never before found any of the numerous solar-powered gadgets worth having - until now. This little marvel performs very nicely; frankly we underutilize it. An array of fountain heads is provided, most of which are a little too vigorous for this particular bird bath. Initially, the screen on the pump became clogged, a condition easily remedied and not repeated once I gave the bowl a quick scrub. Overall, it feels study, with the pump and battery well-insulated and set firmly on the underside of the solar panel. I can confirm the feature that disengages the pump whenever the water level gets too low, which I'm sure saves it from dry-sucking and failing. I may re-visit this review at some point to speak to its longevity. Until then... (So far, one finch seen fluttering in the spray. Hoping the hummingbirds take notice. Dreading one of the fat pigeons discovering it!)

It works, but...
I have this installed in my birdbath in the backyard. I go through one per year as the wires will corrode after about a year of use. The neoprene ring around the bottom allows the pump to float which what I DON'T WANT, so a gently removed it from the pump. Then I secure the pump in the middle of the birdbath with a couple of small smooth river rocks. It's glued on so take your time peeling it off. It comes with a bunch of nozzles, but they just spray water all over the place. In an hour your birdbath will be empty. So, I used nozzles from a previous purchase, and those work fine. I have to clean out the actual pump screen at the end of the day because the bird turds, feathers, and grass plug it up. The 3.5 V battery is a big improvement over the previous models, however, it only stays on for about an hour after sunset in the summer. In the winter, due to the lack of direct sunlight, it will shut off shortly before sunset.

Se descompuso al mes de uso
No puedo recomendarlo. Funcionó muy bonito por menos de un mes. Dinero tirado a la basura.
