Its ergonomic handle ensures comfort during use, while the rounded, Teflon-coated pins glide smoothly through medium to long coats, effectively detangling and removing undercoat without pulling or damage. Perfect for dogs and cats, this comb is a favorite among professional groomers and pet owners alike. ## Description This 7" Paw Brothers Greyhound Steel Comb is coated with true Teflon for a smoothness you can feel. The medium/fine round tip Teflon coated stainless steel pins glide easily through the coat. This comb works great for fluffing, detangling and removing dead hair from medium to long hair dogs and cats. Review: Both Golden Retrievers LOVE this comb as much as I do! - Where has this comb been all my life? I am not kidding. The Teflon coating as well as the tines being round AND fully rounded ends means this comb works through double coats of Goldens like butter when line combing or maintenance combing. Easy to tease out tangles and this comb is comfortable for ME to use, too. I have an 11.5 yr old with a heavy show-type undercoat/feathering and a 10 mo old who is in that awkward coat stage, but will have more of a field influenced coat. My 11.5 yr old has never liked slickers (even with me using them correctly), has put up with coat rakes and so many kinds of failed brushes. Turns out the issue is how it touches her skin. She loves greyhound combs. She sees one and flops on the couch. I found one (half the as good as this) and we thought we were in heaven. Puppy grabbed it and it's been lost. I have tried multiple greyhound combs that either snagged her hair because of cheap tines that weren't round or they hurt my hand to use. She would rather just have the wide end of a greyhound comb run through her locks and fall asleep while we watch TV at night than me pet her in the same scenario. I opened the package and just spent 2 hrs combing. Both girls took turns and were not happy to have to share. My senior loves this comb so much she asked to have her belly combed out with it. That is normally only her Pantene rubber tipped soft pin brush territory. My puppy was really comfortable and did not want to bite the comb every 6 or 7 comb swipes. This DOES remove undercoat. We are all so happy with this find! Review: Excellent comb for long hair cat - We have a long haired domestic/Norwegian cat who is an indoor cat and has beautiful hair and this comb is my favorite to use as it glides through her fur. It has a wide tooth and smaller tooth end, though the smaller tooth end is not small enough to check for fleas. The comb is metal and very sturdy. It has rounded ends and is easy to hold and the cat appears to like it. We have 5 comb/brushes in our cat tools and this one is one of my favorites to use. ## Features - GREYHOUND STYLE - The Greyhound style of the comb is a popular choice among professional groomers for its ability to detangle and finish the coat, so you can be confident that you are using a high-quality tool. - DUAL SIDED - The dual-sided design of the comb, with widely spaced teeth on one end and finer teeth on the other, makes it a versatile tool for a variety of grooming. - ERGONOMIC HANDLE - The ergonomic handle of the comb is comfortable to hold and provides a secure grip during use. - TEFLON COATING - The Teflon coating on the comb makes it easy to glide through the coat without pulling or damaging the hair, making it a gentle yet effective grooming tool. - WHY RYAN'S PET SUPPLIES - Established in 1959, we have grown from humble beginnings as a family-operated four-page catalog to an international business featuring top quality products and services for pet professionals and pet lovers alike. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B014PFSUZM | | Best Sellers Rank | #46,621 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #56 in Dog Combs | | Brand | RYAN'S PET SUPPLIES | | Brand Name | RYAN'S PET SUPPLIES | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 231 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00638412313144 | | Hair Type | Fine/medium | | Included Components | yes | | Item Type Name | brush | | Manufacturer | Ryan’s Pet Supplies | | Manufacturer Part Number | TM31314 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | TM31314 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | manual | | Size | Medium/Fine | | UPC | 638412313144 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | yes | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RYAN'S PET SUPPLIES - **Material:** Metal - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Power Source:** manual - **Size:** Medium/Fine ## Images ![Paw Brothers Greyhound Style Teflon Comb for Dogs, Professional Grade, True Teflon, Fine/Medium, Ergonomic Handle, 7.5 in. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61YytjuedmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Both Golden Retrievers LOVE this comb as much as I do! *by L***K on December 24, 2025* Where has this comb been all my life?
