Could not see spending $90.00 on a mohawk from TNVC. This counterweight pouch holds an aviation style battery holder with 4 AA's and 4 CR123's in the integrated elastic bands. Beware it does not come with a placard care with elastic bands as in the pictures. The elastic is sewn inside the pass through tunnel. The elastic is in two rows and holds a CR123 well. I believe it would hold a total of 6 of them if you wanted but I just carry 4. The elastic has the batteries mounted horizontally and you can push from one side out the other. The velcro is quality and the stitching seems squared away. The fabric seems as if it will hold up well. I am interested to see how it looks under night vision. Holds everything I need and looks good. Great price. There is elastic loops on the top side of the counterweight pouch for a chem light and velcro loops on the bottom to hold your radio cables when not in use. Nice design. I do wish it had the removable placard with elastic loops as in the pictures. It helps to add to my 50 shades of green helmet setup.

Works pretty darn good, ive ordered 2 they work great for me, has plenty of pouch space for spare batteries or counter weights

Let’s be real here, this is a cheap alternative to something like a mohawk. If it performed better under NV I would give it 5 stars. I own a lot of fancy battery packs, and purchased this to compare. It’s one of the better cheap alternatives. I wish they would use better fabric though, as it would be more useable to me.

Excellent purchase for my Wendy helmet. I was able to store extra batteries to act as the counter weight. Good fit and great color.

Easy to install and looks cool

Im going to to give 4/5 in value for money for two reasons: - its either cable or hem light - (most important) there is no way to change size of "back compartment" - this makes it hard to store any batt-pack there without redoing this part slightly. Otherwise, does seem good trade.
