Must have
If you are an elk hunter or a guide.. this is a must have.. don’t leave camp without it.. have you had elk hang up at 60 yards and you can’t get him to get closer? That’s because he doesn’t see a cow and I have called in many bulls from across a canyon , just because they see the decoy.. ITS A MUST HAVE!

Followed by bull !!
This Decoy really works! On our recent archery rut hunt,We were trying to work our way to a 365+ bull that we knew bedded down in a drainage.I was cow calling And carrying the decoy in front of us as we moved through the country.Suddenly I noticed a 4x4 bull on the hillside in front of us looking at us through the trees. I told the two guys with me to stay behind me and the decoy so as to not bust the bull out of there. We moved down the drainage to get away from the bull as we were not interested in him. As we came out of the drainage and rounded the next hillside there the bull was again! The bull continued following us, 60 to 80 yards out, up that hillside as we worked our way to where the bigger bull was bedded. Any true hunter knows that game run from hunters, they don't follow you! His senses Truly were fooled by the calling and the decoy,he thought he had himself a girl friend!

Ears bent when received
These decoys look very realistic, the packaging they ship them in, cause them to be bent, the ears on this cow elk were bent upon unpacking. Wished they had a better packaging.

Looks real and easy to set up .
Just put up my new decoy and can’t believe how real it looks and the hight of it , it’s spot on . I took me not even two minutes to set it up and two minutes to take down an fold it up , can’t wait to set her up in a month on my elk hunt.

Realistic
This looked so good in the woods, that a hunter put a bullet hole thru it and "killed" it. Lol However one of the pole "channels" wasnt sewn properly, so the pole flip flopped all over, making it hard to keep the elk head properly positioned.

elk decoy
this rating has not been evaluated by actual elk at this point. I think it looks good, will be easy to pack and seems to set up in a heartbeat. Looking forward to seeing how the elk react this fall. I may revise the review after elk season if I get conflicting opinions from the elk.

Works as long as the wind is at a minimum
These work great as long as there is no wind, got a nice 6x6 to close in on all 3 of my decoys from 600 yards out to 150 yards, the wind kicked up and moved these dec’s and he spooked, still shot him. My partners used my decoys for the rest of the hunt and had success as long as there was no wind to excessively move the Decoy
