For health benefits, you want a natural, non-alkalized (i.e., non-Dutched) cocoa, as alkalization drastically reduces any healthful polyphenols. Unfortunately, most natural cocoa is bitter and hard to dissolve. Anthony’s is surprisingly smooth, flavorful, and dissolves as well as any other cocoa. I had to re-read the bag to make sure that it wasn’t alkalized. And, the 2# bag is not much more expensive than the common grocery store brands, and actually cheaper than some. AND, it’s organic! Highly recommended.

I think it is as good tasting as the more costly cacao powder. I have it every morning with different supplement powders. if I want to have that chocolate bar feeling and taste that stays in you mouth I mix a little coconut oil and powder to make a paste. It makes just a couple teaspoons and I eat that over a few hours.

This is my go-to organic cocoa powder. I've bought a bunch of stuff from Anthony's, and I've never been disappointed.

Large quantity for the price, but I find the flavour too light. I love chocolate and I find my baked goods are not as chocolaty with this cocoa powder compared to other brands I've used. But it's not bad, especially for the price.
