External parasites are difficult to control with conventional preparations that are administered orally or by injection. Static Lice do not live on the animals skin and do not feed on the host animals blood supply. They live on the hair and derive nourishment from the protein in the hair itself. Farriers Lice & Mite Shampoo contains and ingredient derived from the Chrysanthemum plant. It works by paralysing the Lice and Mites on contact rendering them unable to move and they die within 24 hours. This shampoo is completely safe for your pets and no ingredients are enter the animals system. DIRECTION FOR USE: Your animals can be bathed in the usual manor. Wet the animal with luke warm clean water. Pour a little shampoo into the palm of your hand and gently shampoo the entire animal. Work the lather well into to coat and make sure all the hair is covered. Leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes before rinsing off with clean water. If the coat is particularly greasy, reapply shampoo again. Once rinsed off, towel dry or use a low heat hair dryer.
