NEWTRY 8mm Pneumatic Hole Punch Stainless Steel≤1.0mm; Aluminum Alloy≤2.0mm

Punching extra holes in ls head gaskets this is exactly what I needed. They do not let water around the combustion chamber so wanted to increase and add some holes. It’s hard to drill so this punch did exactly what I was needing. It’s strong and punches a clean hole. The company was great to deal with when had some questions about the product and very responsive. A lot of sellers sell these but this particular company is worth buying from as the product was put together correctly and pre tested prior to shipping. I can’t say that for some things I got off eBay that were very similar and didn’t work out of the box. So happy I bought from these sellers and got this product.

It punched nicely but is only good for flat sheet metal. I have a u shape and cannot get it in the throat. Can I purchase one with a larger throat height? Do you make a different "C" height? It is not as big as shown on the picture proportionally.

I had to put about 4,000 holes in galvanized drip edge. The drill press took way too long and distorted the metal. My lever puncher was faster, but still too slow and tough on my wrist. So, I bought this thing, not really expecting much from the other reviews. But it punched every hole perfectly with no problems at all. Like all pneumatic tools, remember to lubricate it every time you use it, and keep the air pressure around 90 psi.

This tool saved so much time punching holes in aluminum! FOLLOW-UP REVIEW BE WARNED!!! After using this tool for 6 months, the punching force stripped the threads in the part that holds the head. The warranty is 1 year. First attempted to send an email to the address that came with the tool. No answer! Then contacted Amazon and was given a phone number and a different email for Newtry. Called the number and a couple in CA answered and said they had been trying for months to get Amazon to take their number off the website with no success. Then I emailed the new address given to me by Amazon. Still no answer! Amazon would not stand behind the product! It is impossible to get a replacement part and contact Newtry!!!! UPDATE: After 5 days I finally received an email from Newtry. They wrote they would replace the part but they wanted $49 for shipping. I replied that I was unwilling to pay $49 for shipping. They followed up with a concession price of $29.

Just recieved this hole punch and so far it works great on the auto sheet metal I’m working with.

Bought this tool for the deep reach. After a couple of uses it quit working so I wrote Newtry. They were able to provide a parts drawing and troubleshooting plan which took care of the issue. They also sent a backup part for the air valve. Tool works great on automotive sheet metal.

This makes short work out of roseset Welds holes. But it does not go through 16ga sheet metal 18ga like a hot knife through butter.

This product has too be one of best tool for saving time in my line of work instead of drilling 8mm holes in steel panels with a drill just align over marked panel and press the trigger and instantly a 8mm hole no turning’s or sharp edges nice clean holes ready for welding 👍🏻

This hole punch easily goes through 22 gauge mild steel and with a high flow fitting and good air pressure / supply can punch 16 gauge MS. I use it for training and the depth of the jaw is great.

It’s not good for heavy garage - Tried 18G and it failed .
