I was quite surprised about how great this powder was! Very natural finish that did indeed create a very positive and slight glow to the skin - very pretty. And it is not drying at all. This powder is a pleasure to use. They certainly are charging an extremely high price per ounce for face powders now as compared to what they used to commonly charge, but this is a very nice product.

This setting powder actually does its job—pores? Gone. Makeup? Locked in. No complaints there. But the container… wow. The moment you remove that sticker, it’s like the powder decides to escape its responsibilities and come out in bulk. I just want a little dab, and my brush comes back fully loaded like it went grocery shopping. Then I have to tap it 10 times like I’m playing a drum solo. Great product, slightly chaotic packaging.

I've purchased this halo glow setting powder multiple times. I sometimes purchase it at a local store so I'm not sure if I've been getting a new one every month or every two months. How often it needs replaced also depends on how much you use at a time. I try to use it lightly but sometimes pick up more on my sponge than needed. I like to concentrate it more on certain areas, such as eyelids to prevent creasing and my nose since it tends to get more oily than other parts of my face, but I do a light bit on other areas of my face as well. I always purchase this in the shade 'light' and find that it's not too dark even for my fair skin that sometimes light shades of powders still are. This shade isn't ghostly white and doesn't wash me out or look overly powdery. It doesn't make my skin look dry, but with any makeup if you have overly dry skin it will show. It sets my foundation nicely (I haven't used it without foundation) and also adds a light bit of extra coverage. My nose still ends up getting a bit oily eventually without retouching, but that is normal for me. I like that this powder feels lightweight on my face and not chalky at all. It blends well with my real techniques sponge for dry powder (I use a different RT sponge for liquid foundation) which I pat it on with and powder blush blends nicely over top of it. I also like that it doesn't have any weird or strong smell at all, as I don't like and avoid cosmetics that do have a smell. I also like that ELF's products are vegan and cruelty free as well as competitively priced.

I purchased the pink version but it was more peach than pink. I returned it. It worked okay but on the same day, I got a pink from Catrice that really amazed me. I put E.L.F. on half my face and under eye, and Catrice on the other. The difference was stunning. I had to return this one. Concept is good and price is good but it can't beat the Catrice powder.

La ricompro da mesi ed è diventata una delle mie ciprie preferite. È leggera, setosa e non appesantisce il viso, perfetta anche per l’uso quotidiano. Se si ripassa leggermente, lascia un bellissimo finish luminoso e naturale, senza effetto polveroso. L’unico piccolo difetto è che finisce abbastanza velocemente, ma considerando la resa e il risultato sulla pelle, per me resta un’ottima cipria. Assolutamente consigliata.
