Kind to Skin Face Moisturizer For Sensitive Skin Replenishing Rich 12-Hour Moisturization for All Skin Types 4.2 oz

I’ve always been particular about lotions I use to moisturize my face. I use to have a very sensitive face, not so much anymore, but I still want a gentle and more natural choice. This product has worked great ever since I chose it as my replacement for another product that I can no longer find anymore. I was worried about having to test different lotions until I found a good one but this was my first alternative that I tested and I immediately liked it. The price is really good in comparison to many face lotions. It’s not too thick but it does a good job of moisturizing without having to use a large amount. It has never left my face feeling greasy, shiny, filmy, burning, stinging, or irritated. My technique is to wet my face and neck a little and then wet my hands and then apply the lotion to my hands and then rub it on. This helps to easily spread the lotion all around and I feel like it saves me from using an unnecessarily excessive amount. I also apply it around my eyes and on my eyelids and it has never made my eyes burn (just be careful it doesn’t get on your actual eyeball because potentially that could burn). This is a great product and I will continue to buy it and use it so long as it stays available and the price stays relatively the same.

I have been using this product for years and it has been working great for me and my skin type and needs! I recommended to anyone who does not need a heavy moisturizer. I never liked having to pay a lot to try out a new moisturizer only to find out it made my skin oily and more prone to pimples. So, when I found this and that it worked for me, I stuck with it. The only reason that I would switch would be if there was something like this but better for wrinkles in the same product that I could afford. I would say that I have oily or combination skin. It seems combination most of the month and more oily when hormones change. I definitely notice my face is tight and itchy if I forget to put this on. With it on, I don’t feel like it added any oil or grease to my face at all. It is very thin and lightweight and easily absorbed. If your skin is extremely dry and you are in dry and cold weather all the time I could see how this might not be enough but I think that it is a great daily facial moisturizer for most people. The only issue that I have with this product is the bottle and the way it dispenses. I have wasted so much lotion due to this! Similar to how toothpaste will build up at the opening and the cap won’t close and you’ve got a mess, it is the same with this bottle. Even when I occasionally wipe the top after using it, it still builds up on the inside so the opening becomes smaller and you have to use more force, and then it has to push through the buildup and a lot of the product squirts out uncontrollably and goes to waste. They could do better with the dispensing design.

Very nice moisturizer. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend you trying this product. I paired this with Simple's Micellar cleanser and my skin has stopped being reddened and flaky. The moisturizer spreads nicely, a little dab will do the job. I am in my 70s and this moisturizer really helps my facial and neck skin be softer and definitely less dry in appearance. I have tried many different moisturizers, some quite expensive and I would say this moisturizer exceeds even the more expensive ones.

I have tried so many moisturizers for my sensitive skin ranging from cheap $3 bottles from my local drug store, all the way to expensive moisturizers that I bought from different spas. My skin gets red and irritated from almost any product, but Simple surprised me. This stuff is amazing! Normally moisturizers are too thick, where I feel like I have too much "goo" on my face, or too thin, where my face feels dry again 10 minutes later, but Simple left my face feeling soft and juust right. One thing that's nice is that there's no extra junk in the product, so my skin isn't irritated at all from using it! The one flaw with this product is that I do not like how it smells. I'm willing to put up with the scent so I can finally have soft skin, but the odor does linger all day long. I want to give this product a full 5 stars, but I really don't like the smell.

**Update 4-26-21** Sometime in 2020, the ingredients of this lotion changed. Many of the ingredients stayed the same, but just as many did not. I'm not sure if it is for the better, but I'm still using it, and it still seems to work for me. However, with the ingredient change, I noticed the lotion seems to be slightly more greasy than the previous version (doesn't leave a shine on my skin, though) and the smell is slightly "fruity" compared to the crayon smell I stated in my older review. I attached a couple photos of the ingredients for each so you can see and compare. The older bottle has green letters with a white background whereas the newer one is written in white with green backing. Other than the change in smell and slight change in texture, my old review still pertains to this product, which you can read below: For many years, I've looked for a facial lotion that didn't have harsh chemicals or animal derived ingredients. Of the multitude of lotions I tried over the years (organic and the like), they were either too greasy (shiny skin), too smelly, plugged my pours or had a negative reaction to in some way. Other than the change in smell and a little change in texture, my older review still This lotion is on the lighter side, but, even so, it still hydrates well for my very thin and sensitive skin. And after my olfactory system acclimated to it (in about a week), I could no longer detect much of any smell, even right after applying it. Most importantly, though, my body tolerates this very well. With some lotions, it can take one's skin a week or so to adjust, can cause some minor blemishes or the like for a short time, but for me and this lotion, no such issues whatsoever -- none. Now. . .I'm not saying this will work for you as it has for me, nor am I saying you won't have any reaction to this. Everyone's body and its inner workings are as unique as one's fingerprint. What will work for one may not work for another, regardless of the outward similarities. The best we can do is try and see what works. It amazes me that many of the reviews for this lotion state that since this product didn't work for them, that it surely will not work for you if you have a similar type of skin or condition as they do. That simply is not true. It is all about trial and error, which can take a great amount of time. For me, it has taken me countless years of frustration and searching for a lotion such as this -- one that my body can tolerate and that which fulfills my needs. If you are wondering if this lotion is tested on animals and that you are confused like I was by the contradicting answers people have given within their reviews and the questions section (some say yes, while others say no), as of 11-5-18, their website states this: "We're constantly looking for smarter, more recyclable packaging option and more sustainably sourced cartons and ingredients. Simple is kind to skin and to animals too. We do not test our products on animals. We believe products that are safe for humans can be developed using non-animal approaches." Companies can sometimes lie, but I hope that statement is true. In the long run, lying never serves anyone well. As it is said, "Honesty is the best policy" and I truly hope it is so for this company. I have used this product for several years. It meets all the criteria for good skin care -- natural ingredients, it is not overly thick, and feels good going on.

I have used Simple Replenishing Moisturizer for years now because it is a very good product and is just right for my sensitive skin. I have ordered it through Amazon before and had no issues with it. This last bottle I ordered came on time as stated which I was very happy about. When I opened the bottle to apply it to my face, I noticed it had a slight odor like it was spoiled. I thought maybe my smell was off. I applied it to my face and it slightly burned. I excused it. The second time I used it the same thing happened. I had to wash it off my face. Simple is for sensitive skin and does not have a scent so I don't know what happened with this bottle. I am disappointed and I am going to send it back. Simple is a good product and I will buy it again but I will check the seller to see where it is coming from.

This is the best daytime moisturizer I've ever used. It's great for sensitive skin, non greasy, doesn't clog pores, and it even helps reduce signs of aging. I combine it with a vitamin C serum for an extra skin brightening boost. I've been using this since I was 28 years old. I occasionally tried other brands, but I always returned to this. I'm 36 years old now, but still look much younger. While I can't attribute that ALL to this lotion, I also can't say this lotion hasn't helped. You also don't have to use the facial wash in order to benefit from this lotion (I saw that question somewhere). I've combined it with all kinds of facial cleansers without any trouble. Right now I'm using it conjunct with the Dove pink bar cleanser. Pores stay clean and my complexion stays clear without being dry, and without having to use anything abrasive for exfoliation (I do use a silicone brush though for gentle exfoliating). I know everyone tends to think you've got to spend a ton of money and time to fight signs of aging successfully. You really DON'T, though. You do need to know what different ingredients do, though, and what your individual skin needs are. Beyond that, it's just a matter of reducing damage (sun, abrasion, stretching) and keeping it well nourished both outside (skincare) and outside (water, sleep, nutrition). The thing that makes this particular lotion stand out is its high nutritional content. Thr standard daytime lotion normally have little more than maybe glycerin or mineral oil, and vitamin E or B5. This one actually carries two vitamins and three moisturizers which amazingly includes collagen (allantoin). I've seen collagen in masks and nighttime creams, but never in a daytime lotion. Collagen is used by your skin to regenerate new cells. Combined with a therapy which stimulates your skin to produce new cells (such as gua sha or micro needling), it is highly effective.
