Listen, I know everyone is different and digests stuff in their own mystical magical way - but heed my warning now, or be cursed. I love Muscle Milk, they make a good product. I've had their vanilla, I've had their chocolate. They're good flavors, convenient packaging, don't make me feel bloated or gross, the whole nine yards. The strawberry however, that's a different story. The flavor is good. It's not quite 'refreshing' but it's not as heavy as chocolate, and it works better in my opinion for fruit smoothies than vanilla. The price was right, and I placed my order. How naive I was. When they arrived I immediately placed them in the fridge for testing, and a few hours later downed my first one. Delicious! I thought. I was given no warning. I had no gastrointestinal distress. There was no lead up, no red flags. Then, the Horns of Babylon rang out. I let loose something I previously thought I was incapable of. See, I've had long flatulence, but it is typically without odor. I've had pungent flatulence, but it comes in short bursts. This was the combination of the worst of both. A long, meandering, and particularly baritone noise erupted from my backside. It was the scout I believe, testing to see if the coast was clear. It must have decided then that its time was upon us, and thus the "Battle of the Bulge" ensued. My wife booked an AirBnb to escape. The cat disappeared too. The dog, while normally subject to such stenches decided that enough was enough and attempted to hide underneath the bed covers - like a midwesterner ducking into a ditch to allow the ensuing tornado to pass over them. Light bulbs shattered, the AC filters plugged up completely, old paintings were stripped of their varnish, and my underwear...nestled directly within the blast radius required 2 full years of weekly therapy to come to terms with what had happened. The event lasted about 2, maybe 3 hours. It was a blur, so I can't give exact numbers. When all was said and done, I stood in the center of the charred remains of my home, accepting that things could never go back to the way they once were. I felt no worse, nor no better at the end of it all. My intestines, happy to pass the nutrient rich mixture along to some surely previously unnamed bacterium lurking inside of me created something that could have only been otherwise created in a petroleum refinery. I, being a person of scientific inclination, decided one week after this event to test my theory. I had nothing else that day, other than water - and a singular "Slammin' Strawberry" protein shake. My greatest fears came true once more. It was that, and nothing else. I don't mean to imply that this is a bad product, I do genuinely enjoy the taste, but be aware that the combination of ingredients may become something larger than the sum of their parts within you - and that this information is to be used wisely.

I love strawberry protein shakes and I'm not a fan of vanilla or chocolate but I will drink the chocolate if I have to. I love the fact that I have so many of these in my own home where I can just put them in the refrigerator and have them ready to go. I also put this in my coffee so I don't need creamer or sugar. Who would have thought that strawberry taste good and coffee LOL I am pre-diabetic so this helps me eliminate unnecessary sugar and it also gives me the protein I need for the day. I'm constantly trying to get extra protein in my diet. Will purchase again!

Had gastric bypass about 30 years ago and protein is always a challenge for me. They would like me to have about 150 g of protein a day which is almost impossible to get. I drink one of these shakes pretty much everyday as a snack. Most protein taste like garbage and leaf chalky nasty residue around the corners of my mouth. The strawberry is a flavor that I can actually handle. I hope they continue to make it for many years to come because I pretty much rely on it.

I got the strawberry MM and it’s ok tasting. Tastes like protein drink. I bought it for muscle recovery after lifting. Good amount of protein and low sugar content.

For those who have a problem with chewing and swallowing food, this helps a lot. Lots of protein and it tastes good too. I add a little ice cream and put it in the blender. It helps to supplement food intake. Both the strawberry and chocolate are very flavorful and not so thick as to hinder swallowing.

My husband needed this product for proper recovery after a surgery. It was easy to order. Delivery was even faster than promised. The quality and condition of the product was impeccable.
