2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Gel 60gm Tube

All I can say is wow! I’ve used other brands’ benzoyl peroxide products and this is the one that really worked for me. I apply it morning and evening, also noticed that I don’t need moisturizer because it does not dry out/irritate my skin like I thought it would. What is really interesting about this gel is that it is somewhat sticky, which other people may not like, but it makes it easy to layer tinted SPF on top of it kind of like the elf Power Grip Primer I used to use. I get cystic acne often, so it was extremely hard for me to not pick at them. Ever since I started using this though, I haven’t found the need to pick my face once. It seems like the acne and picking wounds I had quickly healed, while preventing acne too. The only thing about wearing it during the day is that it will make your spots flake but I know that is just part of the healing process and it doesn’t even last for more than a day! I apply it onto my shoulders and chest too where I would get acne and it gives a glowy, healthy skin look. If you’re thinking of buying, try it and see for yourself! :)

Worked wonders on my acne-prone skin. I would get hormonal acne in the form of small cysts. After using this daily for the last few months, NOT A SINGLE BREAK OUT.

This is my second time buying this gel, which says a lot. The 2.5% strength is a good fit for me because it clears up breakouts without the heavy dryness, redness, and peeling I got from stronger benzoyl peroxide products. It goes on clear, spreads easily, and dries down fast without a sticky or greasy feel. I dab it on pimples after cleansing, and they look smaller and calmer within a few days.

Benzoyl peroxide water based gel was my saving grace during my teens and twenties, and it basically cured my rather severe acne. A decade and a half later, I suddenly became highly allergic to it (possibly from overuse, stress, aging, etc or combo of these things). It would leave a red welt for days anywhere it touched my face. At this point in my life, 35ish years old acne wasn’t too bad and I found alternative treatments for the occasional pimple. However in the past few years, now in my 40s, I’ve been getting breakouts every several months, and some of these breakouts were getting more and more severe. Derm had got me into high concentration salicylic acid as a spot treatment and it seemed to keep my acne at bay for a while. But very recently, this 30% salicylic spot treatment method seemed to just irritate my skin without getting rid of the zit. I decided after an 8 year long break that i was desperate enough to give benzoyl peroxide another try and purchased this one, hoping for the best. Success! No allergic reaction! I followed another reviewer’s recommendation and washed it off after 10 minutes of using it as a spot treatment. This method and the many years my skin took a break from it, may be why I can now tolerate BP again. And I’m so very glad I can. It’s way more effective than salicylic on my skin, and shrunk existing zits that I’ve been fighting with for weeks within days. I’m gradually increasing the time I leave it on over a bigger area of my face (as preventative), and may try to leave it on overnight for the larger stubborn zits. I’m just hoping I don’t become allergic to it again, since it’s really been the most effective option for me throughout my life!

Been using name brand and generic drug store benzoyl peroxide for decades- this is NO different, much bigger, and more economical!
