2 gallon Sap Bucket Lid

Missing pin

We have been slowly growing our tree tapping supplies. I have looked around for better products, but they don't exist. These are reliable and easy to use, and we will be back next year for more!

Poor quality control. The part of the lid that receives the pin is bent, so the pin is extremely difficult to insert. I can't even insert it all the way, or it gets jammed and is almost impossible to remove.My lid also came with two big UPC code stickers on the top. It took me a while to scrape off the stickers and residue.

Good fabrication, pin moves well in and out of the slots to attach to the spile.

Not only was it awesome but also contacted seller for instructions as to how to attach, he responded right away and didn't even make me feel stupid for not know how to attach the lid to the bucket !!! Awesome seller !!!!!

I would have thought that buying the spline, bucket, and lid from the same company would have meant they'd fit together we'll. I have no problem with the spline or bucket, and I understand how they're all supposed to connect together, but the lid does not sit on the spline right. I had to skip a small section of metal off and bend part of it to make it actually cover the bucket without constantly leaning to one side or the other.

It's a good product but to me it's too expensive. The quality is good but I wish it was offered at a lower price point.The lid connects to the tap instead of the bucket that you buy separately.
