I noticed sone droppings around the house when cleaning purchased this to use as bait in snap closure traps. I set up 6 traps around the house putting one or two pellets in the bait area. First day nothing🤦‍♀️ second day one of the traps set off! I think I just had the one rat that got inside. So since then I haven’t seen any activity. I still keep a couple traps set up behind the stove fridge and washer just incase. I also bought a pet safe rodent spray. That seems to basically be essential oils. It works great as well and smells good! I’m glad that I found these pet safe options because I have small dogs! Im so glad I don’t have worry about them being around poison!

I read all the bs good reviews and determine that I would get this specific poison because it was safe to use indoor with pets and kids. I have one single rat in my house that I cannot get rid of. I know there’s only one because my sister used to live with me and had pet rats. They had babies and one day she said she was a baby rat short. It got out and has been living in my basement. She moved out and took all her rats with her except this one that’s been running loose. Never had a rat or mouse problem before this, and my house stays super clean. But I have pets and this rat eats my pets food. I’ve set mouse traps and they disappear. I bought this poison and the rat ate it, and was still coming every single day after for 2 weeks now. I put out 20 pellets and it ate every bit of it. It is not going through organ failure or slowly getting sick, it’s still perfectly fine and getting into my dogs and rabbits food. I have to keep their food locked up and only feed the poor things once a day. This rat is driving me nuts!!!! But anyway, don’t waste your money on this product. It won’t even kill a medium sized not even full grown rat.

I bought this "poison" because I had mice in my SRO which was difficult to handle since they lived behind the radiator of my room heater and stayed in there all day. I was thinking to myself how to kill them without smelling them thought there had to be something that does this and I found Rat X. So I bought it. It works! I think? I decided to plug up there living habitat cause usually they'll all start screaming at night if I don't let them out but it's been silent for a few days. I mixed it with the usual food I feed them (I got them used to being fed so it would be easier for them to eat it when I could afford it) vegan Mac n cheese and some beyond burger stuff. Anyway it's been quiet. There's one left. He got.locked out of home and burrowed his way into my wal through one hole.so I plugged that hole up he refuses to it. Maybe he killed the rest by convincing them to eat it hoping I would keep him if he were the only one (temping cause he's so FREAKING CUTE) anyway..yeah I think it works!! ♥️ Update:: Since I closed off their other burrow a few were staying in my shoe box - I was able to catch them and release but one was already dead from the inside (I had caught him and half him in my hand until got outside to toss him but notices his guts all over the side walk) the other made it's way back into the box where I took the box outside and released him (but he'll be dead soon anyway) and the one I left in the wall with more poison has been very quiet lately. Since the rat I threw outside has his guts spilling out and is super skinny without any force I'm going to DEFINITELY say that IT WORKS. (I think). Still no noises from the burrow (I had about 7-10 and now I have none {maybe one more from yesterday but it might have snuck out while I was releasing the other again, havent heard anything so} :)) NO SMELLS EITHER OBVIOUSLY.

I have several brown mice that have made their way into my house. This is just another product that promises to kill these little buggers but honestly it’s a crapshoot if they even eat the pellets. I’ve sprinkled pieces all over my home set to look like fallen morsels and crumbs indoors and out but I’ve yet to see any pieces chewed on or taken back to their nests. You may get lucky and kill one but there’s always several more to replace the one dead mouse & they wise up knowing what killed their brethren. This stuff is cheap enough to try but ultimately will not completely rid you of mice and good luck if they die where you can’t get to the corpse (mine died in the wall) & brought the flies in mass creating another pest problem! You’d be better off buying the old fashioned wood & lever snap traps that breaks their little necks instantly so you can at least get rid of the body without tearing up your home trying to remove them.

I purchased this product because I have a couple of stupid chihuahuas, so I didn’t want to risk actual rat poison. Rats have been living in the crawlspace of my cute mid century home, and they seemed particularly interested in the dog kibble. I used a live trap to catch and release a few, relocating them to the other side of the lake so they couldn’t come back; but they only seemed to increase in number. I guess they had already sent out invites to all their friends. I told my dogs that they are terrible cats. I even threatened to adopt an actual cat if they didn’t step up their game, but they didn’t believe me. And they were right not to. I don’t want a cat. So, despite my convictions that these little rodents were only trying to live their lives and don’t deserve to die, I had to be brutal because they haven’t been paying their share of the rent. I made sure there was no dog kibble or anything else to tempt them, and I placed a few pellets under the fridge and dishwasher, their favorite hiding spots. I also placed cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil under the appliances to draw them out, because some rando somewhere on the internet said they don’t like that. A couple of days later, the pellets were untouched, and the rats were making just as much noise as before. When I pulled out my fridge to sweep underneath, I discovered they had knocked a loaf of bread behind it and consumed the whole thing. Little scamps. Apparently I am too short to have noticed it on top of the fridge. When you live with tall people that tends to happen. Then I had a brilliant idea. I pulsed some rat-x pellets in the food processor together with some dog kibble and created a (hopefully) deadly-yet-delicious sawdust. I poured it in a couple of piles around the kitchen, and closed it off with a baby gate to keep the not-cats out. The next morning I could see that they had walked through (and pooped on) the piles, but I didn’t know how much (if any) they had consumed. This all occurred about a week ago. While I still notice some evidence of rats, their activity has definitely declined. Then today I was out in the yard, and lo and behold, I found this poor little thing. True to the claims of the manufacturer, it didn’t stink. It kind of makes me shudder to think what I would find in the crawlspace.

Effectiveness is wonderful safety is also good taste who knows but the rats liked it and the appearance appealing to the rats I had mice coming in from the woods I put this under my house put it in my kitchen under the appliances and I have no mice now at all wonderful would buy again

i put pellets on plate inside house & in 10 minutes i had dead baby rat by the plate...i put pellets on plate outside & next day checked & 4 dead baby rats by the plate...you can enhance it by adding baking soda & jiffy corn muffin or cake mix to the pellets or try adding corn meal & salt which is what rat x is...also you can try adding different bait to it..cheese, dog food , fruits, seeds nuts , bacon & grease, choclates , corn meal & portland cement mix jams em up cant poop & goodbye, baking soda rats only cant burp or fart & gas builds up & their guts blow out goodbye..this stuff wont hurt other animals olnly rats except for the cement & corn meal one..all the other stuff is ok.... you can use a blender or food processor to mix it up....they loved the baking soda & corn bread mix... i got one big adult one that got caught in victor wood snap trap & freed himself..now he sets em off and then eats the peanut butter but he never in the trap..ive been trying for 6 months to get rid of him but he up all night banging & clanging in the kitchen...rats knocked over heavy boxes in storage..i couldnt believe a rat pushing over 40 lb boxes full of stuff..the room looks like a thief ran sacked it tossed the room..bunch of rats got in thru the window screen open 2 iches for air...i had the house rat proofed all the crawl screens & vent pipes on roof screened up..one guy wanted $1100 but he was perfectionist spotted every crack nook & cranny....i went with cheap $240 guy who was a crook had to have him come back several times after i had his work rechecked by another company . he was lazy and skipped roof vent pipes he lied said he did.i had to have him make video showing pipes on roof which he lied doing..in summer with windows open they'l come right inside ..rat proofing wont matter...once your on their visit list..their scent keeps em coming past trails....the pest control company bait stations were useless scam...they charge a lot for them too. they didnt do a thing..baking soda & jiffy cornbread mix and these pellets ground up in plastic food storage boxes with a hole cut in them put around your house inside & out will do it better...try all kinds of baits till you find what your critters like ....if you give up there is a250 repeater rat trap that automatically catches rats..you just fill the hopper up with sunflower seeds or peanuts and the top of the trap door drops rats into a holding cage to release them over 10 miles away or drown in water to kill them...or buy real rat poison baits on amazon but raccoons..possums , hawks , owls , dogs , cats , coyotes etc will eat the dead rats & they will die too...

This product works well, and is one of the cheapest to buy, when you but in bulk.

I was attracted to this product as I have cats and did not want them to be eating rats that had consumed something toxic. However it had no impact on the rat colony in my garden. For a rat killer to work, it is necessary for the rats to eat the stuff. Our local rodents had no interest in it whatsoever and although it was left in places where we know they feed, they never so much as nibbled a corner from any of the pellets. In the end we switched to Brodifacoum, which they consumed with great relish--walking o er the RatX on the way to get to it. Waste of money.

I planned to distribute in small baits but I never got the change they ate the entire package soon as it arrived , then little by little all of them were gone ! Fantastic quality and works like a charm very easy to use no toxic does lot have any bad scent looks like wooden little pellets but boy do they work ! I recommend 100%

I tried human traps as had problem with rats after neighbour took shed down where a large number of rats were living due to them over feeding all the local birds and animals, we caught a few and released far from house, but just had to many, not being able to use poison due to cats and dogs, we thought we would give this a go. I put some down the rat holes and the bait was gone over night, I re baited a week later, not seen any rats on cctv for a few days other than ones coming from neighbours .
