Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven, 5.5 qt., Artichaut

Fall in love with cooking, don't hesitate to save up for and purchase Le Creuset cookware! I cannot overstate how much these dutch ovens have given me joy in the kitchen, and brought delicious food from fridge to stove top to oven, right to the table for my family. While we have a large family under the roof, we decided to start with the 9 quart. Wow. Even heating, their light weight for the size of pot, light interior to watch the fond develop, easy clean up, large handles and tight fitting lids are just some of the great qualities that I won't live without! The color is AMAZING. Pick the color that speaks to your soul, and never go back to flimsy, boring pots, my friends! After seeing the quality of the pricey 9 qt, I quickly ordered the 7 qt, 5 qt and 3.5 braiser, rice pot, bread oven and skillet and griddle pans. I always danced in my kitchen, but now it's also because of my cookware. Suggestion: Le Creuset, my dears, please make the Wok, 15.5 Goose Pot and 5 qt braiser in artichaut? Please?! 🥰

Absolutely love the color of this. Artichaut is awesome. The price was great. $260 for this was awesome. Not as heavy as I expected but still feels really premium. Perfect size for 2-6 people. My first ever bread came out perfect and was so easy to clean after. Super easy to cook with and I can’t wait to make some stews in it next. Yummy food will come out of this if you know what you’re doing.

I am accumulating items from this brand. My first was a Large Dutch Oven which I use for soups and stews. Also, for pot roast and veggies. Another piece I love is a smaller crock with lid for smaller meals. I have the 10” skillet which is great. You must cook on low/medium in a seasoned skillet. I use Crisco to season. Read skillet directions to get the most out of your new skillet. All go into the oven too. Beautiful cooking!!!

I waited a couple of years to buy this 5.5 quart le creuset pot. I love the ombré green color. I was looking for a good used one as the new ones are outside my budget. This was supposed to be used; but it still has the stickers on it. I’m very pleased to have gotten this.

I love my Le Crueset Dutch Oven, and the 7 1/4 quart is the perfect size. I use it for just about anything I need to braise, bake, and stew. An overnight soak and light scrubbing with a nylon brush (tough stains come out with Barkeeper's Friend). And the color is perfect.

It's Le Creuset. Simply the best of the best. I'm particularly fond of the Artichaut (Artichoke) color. Yes, it's expensive. But you can always will it to your heirs...
