bad design not slim
The battery door opens towards where you are supposed to be able to mount it to the wall. It included sticky stuff on that side should you want to wall mount it that way, but if you do you are going to have to tear it off the wall to swap batteries (which are near impossible to get out.) Also this is not any slimmer than the sensor bar that comes with the Wii, so I hardly see the point, it was still not slim enough for my LED TV. Waste.

Battery drain like no other....
First and foremost if you don't have rechargeable batteries for this the upkeep is big time $$ for how quickly it eats your batteries. It takes 4 AAA batteries and you will need to keep a hefty supply of them around if you want to keep this up and running. The design of it also makes no sense. It comes with sticky pads but in order to remove the battery cover you have to rip it off of whatever you stuck it to therefore each time making the sticky pads weaker and weaker. And considering I have to change all 4 batteries twice a weak those are some pretty weak pads at this point.I strongly recommend not buying this product. It is a shame too because I normally like Rocketfish products.

Flawed design
We bought this sensor bar to replace our original Nintendo one, but the Rocketfish sensor bar is inferior in several ways, ranging from misleading packaging to flawed design. The first unpleasant surprise we had was that the Rocketfish bar requires batteries, which is mentioned nowhere on the packaging. To make matters worse, it's the most power-draining appliance we own. The four AAA batteries have to be replaced almost weekly under our normal usage (2-3 hours per day). And, as mentioned by the earlier reviewer, the design requires you to rip the sensor bar off of whatever surface it was stuck to in order to replace the batteries, so the sticky strip probably won't remain sticky for long. (We can't be sure of this, since we stopped replacing the batteries after the second time.) Also annoying, though relatively minor by comparison, is the fact that the green power light on the sensor bar creates a constant glow above the screen; our original Nintendo sensor bar had no distracting lights. The only reason I gave this product two stars instead of one is that it does perform adequately as a sensor bar if you can look past its faults.
