good quality
It has a good, strong grip and a very nice color pattern. It's big enough to hold all my very thick, curly hair back. I've broken a lot of hair clips that claimed to be "for thick hair" but this one is made of thicker plastic and is definitely up to the challenge of holding a lot of hair.

Unusal colored clip
This clip was not red as advertised, it is more of a burnt orange color. It is a good size for my hair and I do have clothes it will match.

Broke on third use
I have very, very thick hair almost to my waist so this clip was great for me. You can get a lot of hair in it. I've had similar clips before that were a bit longer and didn't stick out so far from the head - the "profile" as another reviewer called it. However, clips that will hold my hair are hard to come by and this one did the job - three times, and then it snapped and broke. Very disappointed in the quality, especially since it's not exactly a cheap clip. Now I'm out $12.50 and back to looking for a clip large enough to hold my hair.

fantastic for long thick hair
This is the best hair clip I ever got, In one second, I can take my thick hair (3' long) and whip it into a neat, good for all day, upsweep. I now have it in 4 colors and today am buying more.

Really cute, but it doesn't hold on to my hair well at all.

Looks nice, but is so very big
Looks nice, but is so very big! Only someone with extremely long and thick hair could possibly wear this. My hair is white, so I really wanted a white hair clip that I could actually use. I can wear normal size clips, but this was a waste of money.
