Mount Vision Pastel Company 25-Piece Landscape Green Set

I love these pastels. They are large, so they will last. Somehow they lay down similar to the softest pastels, but are not weak or crumbly. Best of both worlds.

I love this set. Greens are very difficult and this is a nice spectrum. Could have used a blacker green, but that is what we have Terry Ludwig's intense darks for

Mt Vision is my new favorite pastel. From hard to soft, I'd consider it in the mid range. I've been painting in pastels for several years and have tried just about all of them on different surfaces. Most pastels work well on sanded paper though they present differently. Not all work well on paper. The critical test for me was on Canson Paper and I was impressed by the marks Mt. Vision made without using a lot of pressure. It proved to be an excellent workhorse on all six of the surfaces I tried, including Canson.

Soft. Buttery

Love these pastels. Not too soft. Good variety of colors.

I wish I could by them all at once.Still, I can afford to get them in small sets.The very best in soft pastels!

These are quality pastels, beautiful colors and the right consistency for me. They handle very well and I highly recommend!
