A great jacket and a great fit if the dimensions match! Value item!
I had this same exact jacket in XXLT before my weight loss surgery and was looking to replace it with one that fits now after my weight loss surgery because I liked it so much. It's stylish, rugged, thick, warm, and offers protection from the elements. The fabric has some give to it, dare I say stretchy, but for me it fit just right. I get the tall versions because of my gut... for shirts and jackets, otherwise when I lift my arms my belly shows. Anyhow, the jacket didn't have any strong odors from opening it and

Awesome Jacket!
This jacket is great! It fits perfectly and is warm without being too thick. It'd be perfect for layering. The only down side is the Sherpa lining rubs off on the shirt you're wearing under the jacket. It's heavy but not too heavy. The hood is a little thin but I'll just wear a beanie. It was definitely worth the purchase price. You can wear it during the winter or during a cool fall evening.

Well done
Love this jacket! Well made and looks great! I got the XL and I’m 6’1 260lbs. If I was any bigger I would go with the 2X. It fits snug but comfortable. Sleeves are good.

Not as bad as some people claim. Fits very well.
The jacket is true to size and incredibly well fitting for me. Most of the stars I'm giving it are due to the fit. I have about 95%+ full range of motion with no interference from the sleeves when bending, reaching up, spreading my arms, etc. The only tightness is when the zipper is all the way up and I spread my arms to the sides where the fabric tightens on my chest a bit. I'm around 140 and 5'8" - 5'11" with a lean build. I got the quilted lining, which is not as smooth or "cold" feeling as your standard 'woobie' fabric some people might be familiar with. It's a bit more fuzzy and warmer. I really wanted the sherpa, but I felt like that would be a little too warm to wear throughout the range of Fall through Spring. I have a sherpa hoodie and I dress in layers anyway, so that's why I went with the quilt lining, which I am happy with. I will probably never use the optional zipper hoodie, which is kind of silly, as I own a bunch of hoodies I can wear with this already, and they fit fine and look better that way. I think it's a good value, though the cotton somehow feels susceptible to damage or tears in a way I can't really describe. It reminds me of sun-rotted cotton, like it would tear easily or something. The olive drab color is pretty dark.. the first wash had a lot of black dye in the drainage spin. I recommend the gentle or permanent press cycle with this, with all zips and buttons zipped up. I don't recommend washing the hoodie with it when it's separated - the metal zipper teeth could damage the jacket during agitation. Overall it's a nice affordable jacket that is reminiscent of the classic M65 field jacket, of which Helikon-Tex makes one of the best replicas you can find if you're interested. The chest pockets can't fit most phones - they can fit a pack of smokes and a lighter. The inside pocket can fit most phones with some room to spare and although you can feel the weight of something heavy in it, it doesn't really deform the jacket weirdly or really pronounce it from the front. I like that the hand pockets are microfiber lined for warmth, though their bulkiness can sometimes lead to a beer-belly look even if you don't have one when you're wearing multiple layers with it zipped up. Cons: - I don't know if this is Amazon or Levis.. but the first jacket I ordered came USED. It smelled of someone else's cologne or perfume and the bag was torn open. The second jacket I got seemed fine, but the presentation was the same: the bag was torn open and the jacket was just kind of stuffed in there. Terrible. I had to wash them and iron the collar a bit due to the balled up folding it caused. - The size tag is in a terrible spot. It flips up and shows behind your neck. I either have to cut it off or sew a couple threads to tack it down. - The buttons feel a little weak but I haven't had any issues with them popping unexpectedly. I just expected stronger snaps from this brand. - I have no idea how some of the reviewers are managing to rip or tear their jackets, notably around the armpit area which almost turned me off to buying this in the first place, but I'm glad I ignored them (at least for now). They must have been defective from the factory to begin with. I recommend checking over every inch of the jacket and returning it if something is off, but the two jackets I got were fine and I pulled on them every way I could with enough force I was comfortable with. I'll admit the threads are suspect in some areas but if you get a non-defective jacket, you would have to really try in order to rip it apart.

Excellent Jacket for the Price
Very high quality and heavy for the price. I can tell this will keep me very warm, and the pockets are deep and in a good place. The hoodie part of the jacket is also high quality. Nice thick material unlike other jackets of this type that use a very thin hoodie like the ones you get for $20. I'm leaving 4 stars because of the fit. I bought Big and Tall (It's the first time I've bought B&T. I'm not that tall, 6'1), and it seems like it's just a little longer than any other jacket I've bought. What seems different to me is that it's much wider around the belly area. That's not what I was hoping for.

Comfort, Warmth, Light Weight, Durable .
I've never had all of the things I titled in 1 jacket before . Tough denim usually isn't light OR isn't warm OR very light OR loose fitting in my shoulders without sleeves being 3" too long . I honestly didn't think I'd received the right jacket before opening the box because it felt about the same as my non lined Levi's denim jacket I bought last year . After opening the box , unsnapping, unzipping not 1 but 2 zippers I put it on and it felt so just right in length and flexibility in my shoulders when zipped as well as the sleeves being the correct length that I prefer (a hair long when my arms hang by my side so I can slip my fingers inside to warm up instead of putting on gloves . The length at the waist is also below my belt but not so far down it'll affect getting on and off my forklift at work . It was in the low 30s at home and damp from earlier rain , making it feel even colder but the jacket was plenty warm . Levi's did a really good job of balancing weight and warmth . My other jackets this light and warm are of the material that tears or melts very easily . I rarely ever wear those for that reason . I like this one so much I ordered a second in Olive . I've always wanted an olive color jacket and having the liner makes it even better . At over 60 I'm finally purchasing some of the clothes I only looked at when younger because I couldn't afford them back then. Yeah I'm getting them in bigger sizes than 40 years ago . Levi's is still what it used to be, fashion wise so I get to have my mid life crisis without the bright red car 😄. If it's wet outside I'll just go back to my trusty Levi's heavyweight canvas jacket or a rain jacket if I'm gonna be outside a while . Come spring a quick zip of yet a 3rd zipper will allow me to take the Sherpa lined "hoodie" out and wear it as separates if need be . It'll also be more convenient when washing the jacket . I like how the color is not over faded but also doesn't look like it was just dyed either . Edit ; the olive colored one arrived today and though the jacket itself is the same design it ,1 had a Kohls sticker on the cardboard tag and a price of $150 and 2 the dye card stated this was dyed after assembly whereas the black one had a tag that said don't wash with light colors and the Levi's tag didn't have the Kohls sticker but looked the same other than logo and price . The fit is less baggy in the shoulders and the sleeves are a hair shorter . The shoulders thing may become an annoyance if I'm being very active in the jacket but the sleeve length still allows most of my hand to tuck inside when my arms are at my side . The comfort of OMG comfortable.

The quality of this jacket is superb, and the design is very trendy. I’m glad I bought it—the navy black color goes well with everything I wear, especially darker outfits. I really like the removable hood which makes the jacket more versatile, allowing it to shift easily between casual and slightly more polished looks. I’ve been wearing it in relatively cold weather, and it keeps me warm efficiently. Bottom line: A well-made, stylish jacket from Levi's that’s versatile, easy to style, and practical for cooler days.
