Cookology 20L Freestanding Microwave - 800W with 25cm Turntable - Black

I bought this little gem to replace my 10 year old microwave which was concerning me, as the push button door opener kept jamming and some paint had chipped off the inside of the door frame and I was concerned as to whether "waves" were somehow leaking out. I wanted a replacement that had an actual door handle and also a simple "dial" mechanism. My other microwave was very basic, but had all sorts of setting, few of which I'd ever used, as I only tend to use the appliance for heating up food I've already prepared and have in the fridge, have stored in the freezer for later consumption or for frozen veg, on occasion. So, I only need to set a timer for 2 minutes, etc and have no plans for cooking with it, well maybe the odd baked potato! 😉 For that reason alone, this fits the bill perfectly and is simple and no fuss to use. And, I much prefer having an actual handle to open the door. Plus, it looks great and was very economical, price wise. I only onegripe, which is that I thought it would be slightly bigger/wider. It's advertised as being "440 mm" in width. It's actually 430 mm. But, that's no real issue. Everything "fits!" That said, I'm chuffed to bits with the appliance itself and am looking forward to many minutes and years of decent use out of it. At the moment, I can't recommend it highly enough, if you're looking for a basic, no frills microwave that gets the job done! A quick update. The microwave ceased to function around 9 months into its guarantee. I contacted Wright Buy, the company that supplied it, who responded really quickly (over a Bank Holiday Weekend, very impressive) and dealt with the issue in a very efficient and professional manner, sending out a replacement, very quickly, with which I had an issue and contacted them again and, once again, they dealt with the issue very efficiently and quickly. I now have a fully functioning replacement and am very impressed with my dealings with the company, whom I can fully recommend.

I am very pleased with the microwave It's just the size i wanted . It looks good and works very well so very happy .

Unfortunately was delivered with a very small scratch on door. Obviously doesn't effect the running, otherwise easy to use and compact for small kitchen

Great microwave! The quality of it is rather nice for the price, and it heats up food really quickly. Don't have any complaints with it at all. It's well packaged and works well.

The Cookology Microwave seems very good. A little smaller then my last microwave. But it seems fine for what I need to use it for. Its great that it's nice and light inside when its on cooking. Easy to clean. Very good value for money. Over all I am very pleased with this.

Very easy to use.My only fault with it is that you can't set the timer accurately-you have to turn the dial to roughly how long you want it on for as there is no digital screen.It does what it says on the tin !
