What Am I ? Hardcover – October 1, 1998

I chose this book because I am a teacher and read about how it was perfect when introducing inferencing. Although this book seems to be out of print, and I had to buy an older, used library copy which was slightly disappointing. However my class loved the book and I am glad I was able to find it. Great for 1st and 2nd graders.

The riddles are silly. The pictures are a little odd, but in a whimsical, fun way. I needed a book of riddles that low level ESL students could comprehend and enjoy. It was great for this purpose!

I used this book with kindergarteners. They were enthralled with it, being caught up in trying the guess the animal from the clues given. I am very happy with this purchase./.
