Works!
I use it all the time when doing my hair to place my flat iron on, it works I just wish it was bigger.

Smaller than i thought
I knew the size before hand, I was just sad it was so much smaller than the one I had previous! So for me, I’m used to putting 3 styling tools on the mat. This one, is definitely more for holding 2., but it is not the length of your average instrument, for example. It’s a lot shorter. So your instruments will not be completely on the mat. It’s a pretty durable looking mat, as in protecting your surfaces, but it’s a thin, rectangular piece, of rubber like material, I thought might be thicker.

Not large
This barely has enough space for a straightener which is quite unfortunate because the color is pretty. I didn't get to test heat on it but it feels very cheap
User
Great size
Love the larger size; don’t have to worry about placing the curling wand exactly where you need to because it’s a lot larger. Easy to wrap up warm appliance if you need to pack up quickly and protects everything from the heat
