Popped these in door of 2019 Ram 1500. Wasn’t a perfect fit but it worked. Speakers sound great. Pretty good value. I would buy again.

Replacement for front doors 2017 Ford Explorer
I replace the front door OEM speakers from my 2017 Ford Explorer with this ones and the improvement in sound was from land to heaven, even without the need of an after market amplifier (although in case needed it will withstand it, at least a 200 x 4 channels). Fully recommended!!! Only thing is that one has to separately buy both the speaker connectors and the spacers (speaker frames) from "METRA".

A stressful experience
These speakers put me through the ringer. They are quite deep which made them not fit into existing hardware as a different site mentioned they would. (I do not hold you accountable for their error) the box does come with a guide to drill holes, however I had some issues using and caused my holes to be slightly off. This would have been fine as they were close enough that I could have made it work, except for the depth of the speakers and the width of the bottom half again caused an issue in that the speakers were too big for the space they meant to sit. I ended up having to use the cover plate upside down to secure the speakers in the end; high enough that the base would fit into the existing speaker space. Which made manipulating the mounting flanges very difficult. Overall the sound was very good and I’m happy with the finished product, I just think there could be some changes to make installing these speakers easier. I do appreciate the “plug and play” wire connectors that come with the kit, great thinking for future replacements if needed. 2 Week Update: The sound quality really impresses me, overall the kit came pretty comprehensive even with my struggles, so I’ve upgraded to a 5 star!
