It works, with modifications
The tube was epoxied in on mine (photo) unlike other reviews and has held up for a couple hours of use so far. If it blows out for some reason, hopefully I’m not out too far and I’ll clean it off and JB Weld it back in. I was planning to do so from the start but the epoxy seems pretty solid and I figured I’d do damage trying to rip it out with the epoxy already there. The side tube is too close to the housing compared to the original so I had to grind out a groove (as seen in photos) in the housing to get enough clearance to make it work. Not a big deal but another step that should be unnecessary. Overall I’m happy for the price…time will tell about longevity and quality.

Disappointing
The other reviewers were correct. The connection for the small hose is too close to the pump body and you cannot install the pull start housing without cutting into the housing (mine is so close I don't even think I can do that. Additionally, the o-ring is too thick and I was unable to install it without damaging the o-ring. One gent recommended heating up the housing and removing the hose tube and then re-installing it with JBWeld, but not sure I want to take that chance.

So far, so good
It was for our 25 year old snowmobile. Works fantastic.

Ordered twice, fell apart within 5 minutes both times
I wanted this to be good as it is much cheaper than the higher end products. I ordered and exchanged this item twice, both times fell apart within 5 minutes and left me stranded on the snowmobile trail. The water inlet vibrated out of the pump and caused me to overheat. Product looked good, but is JUNK.

these are defective right from the manufacture
Bought this for my snowmobile looked good had it installed but didnt use the sled. Took the sled out today 4 miles and it started leaking. Now I have to pay again. Read all the way to the bottom of description it says when it breaks glue it. If they know theres a problem why sell them.UPDATE if you buy this pump before you install it heat up the casting at the inlet and pull out the tube. Clean it good and sand both parts with coarse sandpaper get some JB Weld for metal and wipe a bit inside the inlet of the pump then coat the pipe reinsert the pipe and let it sit for 24 hours. Now ur good to go.

Excellent part for many different Sleds
Chances are if you have any variant of a Polaris triple from the 90s and early 2000s, this pump is the one that you're looking for. Threw it in my 2000 Indy triumph to replace the old one that had sprung a leak. The part itself had a great finish and bolted right in no problem.Pro tip: after the install remember to bleed your coolant lines before you take your sled back on the trail, this can be done by lifting the nose way up (I drove mine up a snowbank) opening the LEV-R vent, letting it idle and filling the coolant bottle periodically as it makes its way into the system.

Bad fitment and incorrect Oring
Outlet going to the coolant tank makes contact with the pull cord housing, barely fit while having enough tension on the belt at that angleThen the Oring on the motor side is way oversized and actually cut/tore and leaked after installation, had to replace with a slightly thinner versionRan it for 3 hours and it hasn’t lay me down yet

Cracked water pump housing
Just purchased and shipped within a day. That was great. Installed and saw a leak, assumed it was a faulty “O” ring, so I disassembled, replaced “O” ring and re-installed. Still leaking. Upon closer inspection the aluminum casting had a hair line crack from the manufacturer. I’m sending it back and I’ve ordered another, hoping for a more positive result.
