He will stop at nothing to win her ...I often read the duet operating under the name Fiona Davenport as a short escape, no brain cells really needed, it always alphas just out of the cave and sassy virgins.But here, while the story did not derail from the usual, prey sight, stalk period, then seduction, everything exaggerated but it is what it is to be expected, I hated the disparaging comments about some people during the restaurant scene.It tempered my fun. I know these novellas for what they are are overdone erotica, but it does not need to belittle others because of their less perfect outfit, appearance and so on.It disturbed the “innocent” pleasure I usually have while reading this kind of books.3 stars

Main characters who have known each other since childhood are one of my favorite tropes. Add in a hero who has been in love with the heroine for since then and it is just flippin catnip for me. I loved Tucker and Eva together, and I k ow it is unrealistic that they have perfect intimacy from the very beginning, but I. Don't. Care. It was a sweet, hot novella length story that made me smile and a perfect break from angst.

I hate leaving one star reviews. And I usually enjoy these insta love stories. I felt like Tucker straight up stalks her. He pines after her for 8 years with zero contact. Come on

This is probably my favorite in the series, besides His Love which started it all. Tucker was awesome and I’m glad he waited until she was way beyond adult. Eva was sassy.I get so tired of 18 y/o heroines has I’m glad to see a story with an older h.

Loved reading about the new generation. Tucker and Eva make a sweet story. Can’t wait to read more from these two fantastic authors.

Great reading

So I read this all the way through and thank goodness it was short. I have issues with this book. This book portrays stalking, abuse, and kidnapping as not only acceptable, but signs of love.From a realistic POV, it would be impossible for any man to be a perfect lover or to possess the knowledge he had for pleasing a woman his very first time. First times are awkward and clumsy but never portrayed that way in books. Second, I didn't like Tucker. He didn't love Eva. He was obsessed with her. He wanted to own her and he wanted to breed her! Since when is this love? There was no tenderness, no getting to know each other, no falling in love. She had a crush on him when she was 16 and we're supposed to believe she still feels the same 8 years later? We're supposed to believe she's okay with being kidnapped, not just okay, but turned on by being spanked for her language and willing to just marry this mentally unstable person the next day!This was just wrong.

What a fantastic start to the second generation of this series.Eva has loved Tucker since she was a little girl but thought he had no feelings for her especially when he moved to work in England. It’s eight years later and Tucker is back claiming her, can she trust him and has really only been waiting for her?Tucker loved Eva way before it was appropriate at fifteen and to keep himself sane while he waited for her to grow up moved to England but the time to claim his woman and he will do whatever it takes to show her how much he loves her. But after eight years of radio silence will she believe in him and their future?Short quick read both main characters are virgins, it’s steamy and cute. Looking forward to more of this generation.
