Why is this so expensive in the name of Halal?

Thanks for the question. Please note that our bone broths are imported into the UK from Australia, we cover the cost of shipping, custom taxes and fees to get the product into the country. Our bone broth's are concentrated so there is actually 37 cups of bone broth in a bottle of Halal Beef and that works out to 97p per cup. Do you draw the blood out before making broth? I know soaking the bones in salted water first is a method to get rid of the blood.

Thank you for the question. The bones are processed and drained of most of the excess blood at the abattoir. When we receive the bone, it has been chilled and has small meaty parts and minimal natural blood on the bone. Regards Maria
