Worth its weight in gold!
I ordered this for my 7lb shih tzu. She hates it but she would hate anything I put on her. We were out paddle boarding when a wind took the board in a circle just as the pup walked to the front of the board. Because of the wind, she slid off (not expecting the turn) and PLOP into the water. Thankfully, she was wearing the life jacket and her face didn't even get wet! Of course the cutie was annoyed with me but she was safe and we got back on the board and finished our journey. Bottom line, the jacket did what it was intended to do!

Sonny is 6 pounds, I ordered an XXS but now wish I had gotten an XS.

Sturdiness
The only problemIs the size - XS - is much bigger than the other XS one we got for the other puppy. Hope it will adjust for Benelli’s boat rides.

Don’t yet know if this will float. I surely hope so. Quality seems fine. I measured my Maltese and she was at the smaller stated measurements of the extra small. Probably could have used the 2xs.

I have a tiny yorkie 5lbs and a 2.9lb yorkie
I put this on my tiny yorkie as soon as I put her in the water she rolled under the water . The jacket would have caused her to Drown! It doesn't keep the dogs head out of the water . Instead it makes roll their heads go under water. I'm very unhappy with it . I will be returning it. I bought 2 xxs my 2.9lbs yorkie and my 5lb yorkie both did the same they couldn't stay upright in the water.
