Great brand of dog food,
I like the variety and it’s grain free. My only concern is the freshness!

Low in purines, no beef, good quality
This dog food should be quite low in purines therefore a good choice for dogs with Cystinuria or who develop urate stones like mine who also is allergic to beef and this has none. I really hope they don't change the formulation. All that pea protein in grain free food is extremely high in purines and can be really bad for dogs. Turkey is the lowest purine content protein. That said he practically inhales this food because he enjoys it that much. He drools while waiting for it. He's very healthy and I'm impressed with the quality. Maybe TMI but dog owners will appreciate the fact that stools are well formed. I'm not sure if the addition of salmon oil helped, but my dog used to go #2 up to 3 times a day. Fun times.. This is the only food that once is enough. (I've always used high quality foods.) Clearly he's absorbing more nutrients. Very happy, thank you.

Buy it!
This is hands down one of the best limited ingredient dog foods out there. My locally owned store ran out of the Eartborn Venture so I purchased NutriSource PureVita which was about $20 more expensive. My dog loved it but boy oh boy it didn’t agree with her. Constant scratching, eyes watering, watery stools (lots of them) and chewing on her feet poor baby. I immediately ordered from Amazon and she is slowly returning to the pet we know. This solves her allergy problems and it’s good to know that I can get it quickly from Amazon.

what the heck its a miracle!
I just stumbled upon this food when looking for YET ANOTHER choice for my aged Dog with immune issues, colitis and allergies. I can't tell you how many foods and the money spent in the last 12 years. How much we have given away and how many times we just had to resort to spoon force feeding. I saw this so decided what the heck I needed a food with vitamins etc... for him because for 3 years he has mostly been getting me cooking turkey, chicken, pork and mixing it with shredded carrots, and sometimes frozen peas and dried cranberries , maybe some jasmine rice and using a turkey or chicken 95% meat ( no vitamins ) topper. And even then so many times I have had to force feed him. I get this stuff without anything but HOPE, and I put some in his dish, call him over and he come with his tail down and as slow as a snail, he knows I want him to eat. I get him near the dish and walk away, he is stubborn and sometimes won't eat just because I or my husband are looking. I make it to the corner into the kitchen about 4 steps away and, WHAT THE HECK, I hear dry food being crunched. I am shock. My husband who is in the living room working on his computer, stands up and I whisper his name and ask if he see what is happening and he is stunned and has excitement in his voice--he is just eating it!!! So, I am thinking it is new it is a fluke. We have had the food for less than a week and no matter the time of day, every time we put some of the food in his dish he eats it up and looks all around his dish and on the surrounding area on the floor for more. HE has even cried and just stared at me and I just knew he was asking for more of it just after having some a couple hours before. Sure enough I put about 20 pieces into his dish and boom they are GONE!!! I have sent the picture of the ingredients to the Internist I am working with as my boy also was diagnosed about 8 months ago with Cushings..... I pray this is acceptable food to the doctor because it is a miracle and it is very acceptable to my sweet sweet boy, who I am trying so hard and doing my best to keep here as healthy as I can and as long as I can. Hope this helps someone on the fence about trying it. I just figure after over a decade of spending so much on foods and including prescription HILLS foods for him, having him snub most of it and then there is this. I am hugely just happy, he is happy and has NO STRESS over eating ! I think an guardian angel truly had to lead me to this...... I have no other way to explain it. Just praying the ingredients are all what they claim to be! It doesn't smell badly so I put 5 for freshness. The thing I did notice is his breath. He normally has really fine or neutral breath but his breath is a little staunchy. I might have to brush his teeth ( he loves it anyway I use an oral B automatic brush on him---has saved me expensive VET dental cleanings since I started in 2015. Vet says his teeth look so good... I use C.E.T. toothpaste) more and get him to drink even more.

The best!
My dogs are so much healthier after switching to this brand. It is over 90% protein and grain free. Dogs ideally should have a diet at least 85% protein. The most I’ve found in other dry dog foods is 35%. No other dog food compares. My overweight dog is slim and healthy looking and her coat so shiny. My skinny dog, has put on lean muscle and has way more energy and less allergies and tummy issues. In addition, their teeth have less tarter. For the price, this is the best kibble out there!

The only food that doesn't give my dog diarrhea
This brand seems to be the only one that won't give my sensitive cavalier diarrhea. We've tried all the expensive ones, Orijen, Fromm, Farmina, but he has complete liquid diarrhea no matter how much we try to mix or how long we try to switch. Only Earthborn Holistics has worked for him and the venture has been the best of those for him as well. This one he seems to love the taste of as well. The only thing I wish is that they would make a smaller kibble for small dogs of it but he doesn't seem to mind the larger pieces either.

My pug loves it!
My pug has been struggling with allergies and this food seems to work pretty well so far at keeping his allergies in check. Plus he loves it!

Dog food caused incontinence
My dog has been meticulous in never having accidents in the house. However a few weeks into feeding her this dog food she started leaking in her sleep. I stopped the dog food for a bit and went back to feeding her freeze dried raw food and she had no accidents and then I went back to trying the dog food again and the incontinence started again. When looking at the ingredients, salt is pretty high up on the list in food. Yes she liked the food probably because of the salt but perhaps this is the ingredient that contributed to her incontinence. She's been off this food for 2 weeks and has had no incontinence since then. I've checked many higher end dog foods and salt is never an ingredient.
