I’ve purchased several different brands, and this one is by far the sharpest! BUY IT, you won’t be disappointed!

I have owned a pair of Sally Hansen travel nippers for years and have been very pleased with their performance. After years of wear, the spring on my current pair broke, so I ordered a pair to replace them. The first pair arrived and worked perfectly! I was so pleased, I ordered a another pair to carry in my purse. When the second pair arrived, the product was defective! Instead of a small hole to hold the spring in place, there is a slot. The slot is too large to keep the spring from popping out. I contacted Amazon and asked for a replacement. The replacement arrived today and is also defective. The slot is again too large to hold the spring securely in place and the rubber tip just barely catches the inside of the handle. I am not sure if this is a new product design or a mistake in the manufacturing lot, but unfortunately, I am very disappointed and am returning this product.

I have gone through a few of these cuticle cutters and have found these are the more durable and affordable option, but the main downside to these is that they get dull fast, then making it harder to cut through delicate skin around the cuticle. I have only repurchased this because the nipper blades got dull and were no longer to my liking -- not once did I have any break on me. I just wish the nippers were a bit more sharp, but I understand the precautions behind a product like this. I am sure the best ones are quality, priced accordingly, and access to purchasing them as a non-professional is limited. For the price I cannot complain and will continue to purchase these as needed.

If you tired of the other style of nipper coming apart where the two resistance bars meet, you’ll love this one. It’s sturdy for its small size and won’t come apart like the other style. It’s great.

The item has damage on it and it looks like it was used!!! It was sealed with an unusual plastic cover but the actual packet of the cuticle cutter was open and then there was remnants inside of it.
