Review: Works as good as new OEM part that costs 6 times more. Do not hesitate it works as it should. - It works as designed. I was skeptical because of the low price but because I was only 90% sure this would fix my problem it was worth a gamble. I admit I was Happily surprised. Prior to the replacement my 2004 VW beetle A/C worked wut no cold air. Both low and high side pressures were the same. Following the compressor replacement the low/High pressures are now 45/205 and more importantly ambient/vent temperatures are 39.2/95 degrees. Exceptional results, maybe even legendary. I shoot for 50 degree vent temps for client cars, this is as low as I’ve even seen and it feels so good. I’ll follow up and discuss longevity at this point I have no idea. I’m considering the 4 year extended warranty for $29.95. It makes perfect sense in this case depending on what is covered. Does anyone know, it’s not clear the was it’s written? Thanks.
Review: the pump was the exact fit - I bought this for my 1996 Ford ranger. My old compressor died on me so I needed a replacement. Put it on my truck. Vacuumed the AC system. And then recharged. Had good fit easy. Install easy. It was exact fit. Work great. Had no problems with it looking forward to finishing the rest of the summer.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this compressor come with oil already installed in there?**
A: Mine only came with 1/2 ounce of PAG oil. Check your models specs and add into the bolt hole (not either of the pressure line ports).

**Q: Does this come with the ac compressor valve**
A: Yes. The valve is included and installed in the compressor.
Mine has the electrical connector on the valve (vice other versions of the valve that have a short 3-4" pigtail with the connector at the end of the pigtail).

**Q: D i have to add pag oil to this?**
A: Yes. Mine needed about 4 ounces of PAG46 oil. When I removed the oil fill bolt (small bolt on top of the compressor towards the pulley end) and drained out the oil in it, it was only about 1/2 ounce. My 2010 VW Jetta specs said the compressor needs about 4 1/2 ounces, so I added 4 ounces to what I drained out and then poured it back in.
I needed a VERY SMALL funnel to get the PAG oil back into the compressor though. I used the top of a bottle of 90W gear oil that has a very small tip and crammed my funnel into the fat end. Worked great.
