A Must Have
this is a very handy tool to have when it comes to soldering. you can do a variety of bullet style connectors and a variety of connectors like the popular traxxas, deans ultra, and EC5 to name a few. the setup is fairly simple and you havea few alligator clamps to help you keep your wires and connectors in place. the unit itself has a very nice bit of weight to it which is good so your piece will not move around easily when you are soldering your pieces. i am using a trak power tk 950 as a test subject and 60/40 solder with no flux.in conclusion, stock up on one of these as well as heat shrink tubing and solder.

Missing parts!
This item came incomplete! It looks like who ever was packing this, dropped the plastic case it comes in and several parts fell out. The larger screw came outside the plastic case and the aluminum top piece was not inside the case.

Missing parts!
The concept is great, unfortunately it arrived without the thumb screws, the pieces were loose in the mailer only the large block was still in the factory packaging, so had to return and reorder.

If you are clumsy and soldering is not something you do well with, this is definitely something you need on your workbench. Watch the video and to be convinced. No magic, just genius.

Invaluable
I was reluctant to spend so much money on a hunk of metal and a few alligator clips but after pulling my hair out trying to solder Deans connectors with a different (flimsier) solution I dropped the dough on this. What took me many minutes with the old solution was handled in seconds with this product. Thanks for this! I only wish I’d gotten the updated version with the heat resistant insert. Regardless, I’m happy with this.
