Edited:After leaving my review, I received an email from Senyoo saying that I must have received a defective unit and they offered to replace my light and send a new one right away. My new unit was delivered two days later. Absolutely awesome customer service. My new light works perfectly, no more problems! All the buttons work and respond to touch as I'd hoped. While I would still recommend considering changing where the power button is, it's not a deal breaker for me because I love this light. I love that it's portable and I love that it can be dimmed or brightened easily. I also love that it can change the tone from bright white to dim amber as well - bright is great for reading books to my daughter before bed and the dimmer options are better for those middle of the night bathroom trips. Anyway, I'm really happy that Senyoo responded to my review and sent me a great unit with no more problems. Very happy with the customer service.The light is okay. I really like that it can be charged and I like how bright and how dim it can get. What I don't love is that it's difficult to use one handed because of the position of the power button. I also find it weird that sometimes the brighten/dim/etc buttons don't work. Sometimes when I hit the buttons over and over and over, nothing happens. But when it is working, I really do like it. It's bright enough to read stories in bed with and it's also great on the dimmest option as a nightlight. I like having it when I get up to go to the bathroom so I don't have to stumble in a pitch black house. I do hope that the design will change slightly in future versions so that it is a little easier to use.

The battery is terrible. The light won’t turn on if it’s not plugged in. And if it becomes unplugged, it won’t turn on for days. Garbage, stay clear

I'm revising my review. It was previously 3 stars. I gave them a bonus star. I honestly think it's more of a 3.5 star product but I dropped a half a star because of a reason and gave it back. Explanation of that is at the end of this review. It's something you should read if you're really thinking about getting this product.Let's talk about the product. The product is nice. It's not spectacular, it's definitely not bad. It's a nice product and it's pretty cool. The light is soft which makes it not exactly good for things like reading, but it's great for ambient light. I had no problems with how it worked. It would've been nice if it had come with an AC adapter though. You'll have to plug it into your own AC adapter or your computer through USB. The USB plug does have it's benefits though. If you go camping or something with it to light up your tent, you can also use portable battery packs you use for your phone to charge this.The important thing is to not expect this product to be anything more than a $25 portable light and you'll be happy with it. If you're expecting something more, like a $40 portable light, you might be disappointed. The build quality is solidly built but it is pretty much all plastic and the buttons don't really press/click.Now the reason I dropped a half star from the original score was because they had previously used the inflated pricing "super sale" technique. Everyone does it, of course but they did it to an absurd degree. The price they're selling it at now (the actual price not listed price) is the price it should cost. Of course for all things they need to put an inflated price to get better business. Everyone does it. The problem is they went way overboard with it. Jackery is a company that does the same thing. They went to the point it was almost insulting. The original claim was this was an $80 product that they would sell for $60, but "Whatadeal! You get it for $25!" That really bothered me so I knocked off half a star especially since you can see other people selling the same product without claiming it cost $80. When I bought this I knew it didn't cost $80 of course, but I was thinking perhaps it was something more along the lines of a $40 quality product only to find out it was nothing more than a $25 product (which to be completely fair is what it actually cost). But the fact that theyThe company contacted me and asked how they could make it up to me (even offering to replace the one I have!) because I didn't give them a great review and I told them the only real issue I had was the majorly inflated pricing. They fixed it, as you can see. I think that's fantastic so I rewarded them another star.

I like the light variety, different levels, but it is very difficult to turn off and on. I had it by my bedside and I would struggle to find the on/off switch. I went back to my old lamp.

Good quality, and the white balance and dimming features are very nice, but beware trying to use this as some kind of table-lamp, because it shines up into your face.This lamp is great for an out-of-the-way table to create a nice, ambient light. But for a table light, you want a light that shines downward at the table, not up into your face.I've imagined placing it in the middle of a table in a dark room, and trying to have conversation over it. The brightness of the light would make it hard to see people's faces.

It comes with an informative instruction booklet and a charging cable. It took a few hours to charge to full and I don't know yet how long it will last on battery. Other reviewers stated they've had it going for about 6 hours no problem.I needed a small bedside light and traditional lamps are large enough for my cats to knock over. This light is perfect in that regard. It's light but the base is heavy enough it has a low center of gravity and couldn't be easily knocked down.I like that adjusting the light doesn't require pressing down on buttons and to adjust the brightness you can either tap it or just hold your finger down until it's set to where you want. Being able to change from warm to cool light is nice as well. The cool light is good for when you need to see what you're doing and the warm is nice for background illumination.I also like that it's portable. Now when I need to check behind our under something real quick I don't need to dig out a flashlight, I can just grab it and go. I will definitely be taking this with me should I go camping or on some other kind of trip. Overall a useful and innovative product.

I've had it plugged in for more than 12 hours and it hasn't charged.I've plugged it into my computer and many other wall chargers. Still red.
