This case is AMAZING. took it on a tubing trip the day i got it and i read other reviews that were great, so i didn't even bother testing it before taking it out on the water. It withstood water up to a foot or two deep, splashing constantly, and even a trip down the river as the tube got away from us. It completely protected both phones that were in the case and i would definitely recommend something like this as opposed to a plastic baggie (what we used before.....living on the EDGE!! :D) The only drawback i can think of is that you have to take your phone out of the case to put it inside this one. It fits nice and snug though and we were still able to use the phone to make calls, play music over a Bluetooth speaker with no interference, and use the touch screen. I also had a somewhat hard time taking pictures underwater, but it wasn't due to the case. More of a touch screen problem since it was detecting the water as well as my touch. Would recommend 100% :)

I purchased this case for my trip to St. Martin. Waited til we returned to give it my full review and I have to say I could not be more pleased with how it worked. It kept my phone safe and dry throughout the trip including in the swimming pool, ocean bathing and two snorkeling trips. I caught amazing beautiful pictures I would have never been able to capture otherwise with zero problems. I was trepidatious at first to trust this precious item to the elements but it worked amazingly well. I did the papertowel test prior to the trip and then it was off to the races. I was even able to use the touch features of the phone while it was wet, even under water. Awesome product. I highly recommend it! PS we bought one for my husband as well and he used his to carry the money, credit cards, room key and even the electronic car key. Kept it safe and dry thru the trip as well. We are both very pleased.

Although I didn't go under water with it, a friend of mine did and had no issues. The pictures come out amazing even when they are covered by the durable plastice. I would recommend placing your phone top side down in the case, it makes it easier to use while on the go. I used this on a canoe trip and it kept my phone protected from mud and dust that filled the canoe. The only issue I had was overheating, keep in mind it was a hot day in the 90's near Sonoma and being in the case raised the tempature on my phone. I tossed it in my cooler and after 10 min it was good to go, no water penetrated through which was a plus. Just be careful if you're in an are that gets high temp, it will also stick to your phone and you will have to fight to get it out. Advice on getting it out with out breaking it would be to squeeze the sides not the top and give it a nice wiggle. All in all this is a great product and I would recommend it . Also, I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+, it didnt fit with a case but after removing my case, I was able to get it in, a little snug but it fit. I wouldn't recommend if you have a phone large than a S8+.

I was so scared to trust my iPhone in this little thin bag but it held it's own on my trip to Puerto Rico. I pushed through my fear and submerged the entire phone under the pool and left some cash inside also just so it can show me if water was getting inside and it didn't happen! I even took video and pics underneath. Only set back is once the phone is underwater the button to take a picture doesn't work I had to use the volume button to snap photos and record on Snapchat but I did not mind one bit! It held up really well and the photos (above water) were clear through the plastic. You could barely tell the phone was inside a plastic case. I LOVED THIS! it made my vacation so much better.

Some of these reviews are very inaccurate. This product is GREAT!!! One review said the lock clamps are complicated and hard to open and close. False!! They're very easy and secure. After all, security is the most important thing here. Another review said it was hard to put in and take out your phone from the water case. False! Again, security is the keyword here. I however found it quite easy to put in my phone and take it out. Even with the standard protective case still on my phone it was easy. Maybe if you have a very thick case like a battery pack or an otterbox it's difficult to fit but just take it out of that case and only use your water case. Voila! Also, if the water case covers your camera try putting the phone upside down in it. Always do the napkin test before using the product. I did and the water case lived up to its expectations. Napkin came out completely dry. Lastly, It does take great pics underwater and the plastic is very compatible with touchscreen meaning you can use touch screen while your phone is in the water case.

It helped me at Disneyland with its convenient and safe (from theft) location around my neck and being waterproof; however, when I was on the beach (not swimming), with a temperature a bit higher than my day at Disneyland, it was closed with my phone still on inside and my phone heated up so much that it actually said it had to cool down before use. I had never seen that warning before. After removing my phone, it was so hot to the touch; I turned it off and put it in a cool space. It took a long time to cool down, and then I was worried because it took a while to power back on a long time later. Luckily, my phone survived and I've not had any further issues since, but I don't recommend this unless you are actually in cool water the entire time your phone is in it.

I took this with me to Niagara Falls for when we were on the Hornblower (the boat that goes right up to the waterfall and gets you very very wet). It was bulkier than I expected, but it worked very well and kept my phone dry. The clear plastic did not interfere with clear pictures, and I was able to use my phone's touch screen fine. I'm fully satisfied with this product. I kept it on the lanyard, but I liked the arm strap option. I'm a little worried that the clips to hold the top shut will break eventually, but time will tell. For this trip, it served its purpose and we got some fantastically drenched pictures. I have an HTC phone and so many products are made for Samsung and iPhones that they don't work/fit. This does. Tip: follow their instructions to make sure that it's waterproof - you're supposed to test it before you try it on your phone.
