Dockers Men's Classics Dress Flat Knit Crew Socks Multipairs

I am in the military, and I am required to wear black socks when wearing the service uniform. For anyone who has been in the service, we know the feeling of standard issue black socks. For those who aren't or have never served, imagine dragging fine grit sand paper through cat litter and strapping those to your feet. Not very comfortable, especially after a long day of work. In my quest for comfortable work socks, I stumbled upon these beauties. I have worn Dockers pants before, and they were quite comfortable, so I thought I would give the socks a chance as well. I am so glad I did! These are by far the best dress socks I have ever worn. They are thick, but no to the point where it feels like you skinned a sea lion to wear as shoes. I even have some pricey dress socks ($25 a pair), yet prefer these any day. If you are looking for comfortable dress socks that won't cost an arm and a leg, look no further.

When I opened the box and held these socks in my hand I immediately thought back to an awkward sexual encounter that I had in the summer of 1990. But you probably want to know what I think of these socks. Well, I’m here to tell you that these socks deliver nothing more and nothing less than a totally normal, average, and expected sock-wearing experience. In other words: they’re superb! Just the sort of sock I was hoping for when I woke up this morning and munched on a piece of rye toast. Just this morning as I was getting dressed, I slipped on a pair of these socks and thought to myself “I have a meeting today at 10:30” which is a HUGE compliment because what this signifies is that I was not thinking about my socks! They were just on my feet causing NO DISTRACTION whatsoever. Kapish? Fellas: I know what you’re going to ask me next: Do these socks work well as sock puppets? The answer is: I don’t know. I didn’t make a sock puppet out of these. Jeez! In closing I would simply say there are choices to made in life, and which socks you buy is something that you should not be spending a lot of time contemplating. Peace be with you.

Quality , long lasting, large, socks are hard to find, and most are too small or shrink to too small. These are a little tight (I'm a size 14 shoe size), and a little hard to put on, as I'm getting older. Over all, they are good enough to re order, but I'm still looking for something better. My standard, preferred, socks are the George Forman brand that they used to sell at the Big and Tall store. Too bad they are no longer made.

Excellent !! Great Quality. Good Fit. These are excellent socks. I have bought many other brands and these are very good. Good material and a good medium weight. These socks have an orange Dockers logo on the sole and orange trim stripe on the band at the calf. Good Fit - I am size 12 wide and they fit great. Not too small. The band at the top of the socks is average tightness and comfortable. If you have socks with band at the calf which is too tight, you cut the band at the top of the socks. Make the cut at the back of the sock at the calf, where no one will see it. Good to go!

okay so I'm a girl but needed some socks to wear with leather boots in fall & winter - not too thick, not too long, just regular black socks. These are EXACTLY what I was hoping for, I wasn't sure from the description, but they are comfy and just the right thickness for leather boots, they don't fall down and they aren't too tall so they don't create bulk under trousers or leggings etc. Also, they launder well, and because they have an insignia on the underside of the sock they are very easy to pair when they come out of the dryer! I'm very pleased.

I need socks,again. Again. They just never make long term commitments. They are surely not monogumus, as one would expect, always living snuggled together in a drawer. If they were polygamus I'd at least have three or five of them together in one place. But no. Could anyone please tell me where they to go from my bedroom down the hall to the washer hop to drier to hamper, then scamper back up the hall again?. Go online and there five hundred types of socks. And read the comment box. Every one has made too many fur balls, didn't survive a single wash, developed a hole in one in one day, and so on. I got discouraged real fast. I rolled the dice on these. And. The best socks I've ever had! Go figure. Soft, smooth, light, don't sag, don't creep, don't strangle your leg. No kidding. Try them. If one goes missing on me, I'll buy ten more.

ordered size: 6-12 Size: 10-13 : It Fit my foot in size 12 shoe great It was very easy to pull on It does not bunch up in shoe It stays put, doesn't slip down by my ankle. I'm not always having to pull them up. I've use them for 2 weeks am very pleased, and since I can never find something that fits right again later, I just ordered several more of different color styles. (and I can now finally throw out my old socks that don't yet have holes, but are so aggravating). So why can I never find these in the stores I've looked in?

I bought 5 different brands of dress socks: Calvin Klein Men's 3 Pack Cotton Rich Dress Rib Socks, Black; Dockers Men's 5-Pack Classics Dress Flat Knit Crew Socks, Black; Gold Toe Men's Metropolitan Dress Sock, Black; Kenneth Cole Men's 6-pack Ribbed Dress Socks (Black); Sakkas 5599BLACK Mens Cotton Blend Ribbed Dress Socks. I've been randomly wearing these for about 6 months. My favorite is the Sakkas. The texture is very smooth and the fabric is a little more sheer than the others, this combination makes them very comfortable. They contour very nicely to the shape of my foot and leg and after they're on you can't really feel them. I see some complaints about the wear in the reviews. I haven't had any problems and walk a fair amount with them, but I can see where that might be a problem relative to some of the thicker, stiffer socks. The Sakkas are so comfortable, if I do have any problems I'll simply buy more. My next favorite are the Calvin Kleins. They're a little thicker and have a lot of the same qualities, but just not quite as good. They are almost four times the price as the Sakkas. The Kenneth Coles are a little thicker, but a little more stiff and scratchy. The Dockers are okay but they don't contour as well. The least favorite are the Gold Toes, they are the scratchiest and have the least contour. I'm ordering more Sakkas and will be donating the rest.

Looks and feels great. A little thick but nice for a dress shoe so that it prevents discomfort. Looks good the elastic is right enough the sock stays in place 7/10 for me I have large calves.

Very comfortable and well made

Perfect for my size 13 feet. The material is comfortable and the elastic helps keep the socks up all day. Will definitely be purchasing again.
