These worked great and have held up well for more than a year where they were installed in an elevator to hold the apartment directory. With the brass fittings, it goes very well with the antique elevator.

Fairly simple, and great looking.
Ok so I almost did not buy these because of some of the other reviews but I’m glad that I did. Some of these reviews state it was hard to assemble or that the protective coating was impossible to peel off. But seriously don’t listen to them. Yes I will admit the protective coating is on pretty well, but it’s not difficult to peel off as long as you have some patience. Peel up one corner then the next closest corner and slowly pull both of them until you have one side lifted up from the edge. From there you can pull the whole thing off in one single piece. I was able to pull off both protective coverings within a couple minutes. And as far as assembly went it was a piece of cake. Just follow the instructions. In conclusion if you have common sense and a little bit of patience you’ll have no problem with this product, I’ll be buying more in the future.

easy peasy lemon squeezy -- and looks great
piece of cake to assemble, and if you're a human with working opposable thumbs, perfectly simple to peel off the adhesive protective backing. you have to go a little carefully, but it's totally fine. looks sharp, adds a little oomph to a photo.

Quality control?
The edges are beveled, which I didn't expect and they look nice. Unfortunately the holes are drilled completely lopsided, 1/8" from the outside edge. Not only would the screws overlap the bevel, but would absolutely crack. I can't get a replacement for three days which is two days later than I need it. Very disappointing.
