Teen Bean 54 x 9 Body Pillow - Veggie/Kapok

I found this too firm but luckily it is made with an inside zipper so I removed some of the filling. It is now perfect!I have tried a similar pillow from several other suppliers but thus one is the most comfortable for me.

I love tihs pillow and I'll share my reasons why, but unfortunetely I have to mention that the seam on the pillow opened and the stuffing/cotton is coming out so I don't know how to rate it. I'll have to learn to sew to fix it unless the company sends me a replacement, but I'm not sure how that works with purchasing it from Amazon. In terms of why I love it: It isn't too stuffed to fit comfortably between my legs. It's long enough (I'm 5'6") that when I face the pillow and I use my own pillow to support my head, the pillow goes between my legs and my husband can still snuggle me and use the pillow as well. I can use it as the picture shows (as a pillow for your head) but I like to use my own pillow and curve the pillow around my 23 week belly and as described previously so that my husand can snuggle me as well. When I used it as a back support, I can move it to still curve around and put between my legs. It has definitely made my sleeping better since I was a back sleeper. I would highly recommend this pillow if I could figure out how to replace it without having to send it back in because I don't want to sleep without it now. So maybe after the pregnancy, Amazon or Bean will allow me to send it back in to sew it up or replace it completely. FYI: The pillow doesn't come with a pillow case so you'll either need to buy one from Bean (they were temporarily out of stock on Amazon) or put up with a store bought body pillow case not fitting exactly or sew your own.UPDATE: I was able to find where to email Bean products regarding my pillow and since it was defective and within the 30 days, they are sending me a new pillow, which isgreat! I don't have to be without the pillow and I get one that isn't defective...So I'll update again once I get it in the mail and my ratings for the pillow will go from 2 to 4...Also, their costumer service repsonded to my email the same day and were very polite. There's enough things to take care of when you're pregnant and it was an ease to my mind that they responded so quickly and say they are sending the pillow in a few days. I'll update this when the pillow arrive.2nd UPDATE: The replacement pillow arrived today...in less than 3 days and it is great and not defective at all! So I would for sure recommend this pillow. I love it and Bean's good customer service is wonderful!

This works as a full body pillow for me (I am 5'3). I even have enough left over so my husband uses it between his legs. Amazon had the cheapest prices. It even came with a pillow case. The only reason it did not get five stars is because it tends to go flat in spots and needs to be refluffed often. It does make sleeping very comfortable.

I wish I could give this item 10 stars, I have been using these pillows for 5 or 6 years. They are very supportive and I can honestly say I have not had a sore back in the morning since I started using them. I love these pillows so much that when I travel the pillow goes with me in its own suitcase.

This is a really great body pillow. It's shape makes all the difference and I love that you can remove and put back the filling to get the firmness level that is right for you. I am 5'7" and I am SO glad I got the teen bean. The adult size would have been way to long!The pillowcase is a different story. I am pretty disappointed with it. It shrunk almost an entire foot on it's first laundering and is now useless. One of the main reasons I ordered this one was because of the included pillowcase. I would advise anyone buying this to hand wash and air dry the case. It has machine wash instructions but my case still shrunk. Huge bummer.

This is my third kapok-filled body pillow over the course of more than 5 years. The first two were full-sized; this time I decided to try the Teen Bean as I'm pretty short (5'4") and it's a little cheaper. It's the perfect fit. There are two things that make this pillow the best: (1) the kapok filling, which is very supportive and molds to you, and (2) the cylindrical shape, which allows your arm and leg to naturally drape over the pillow. The pillow is great to cuddle, but it really holds your body heat, which is a bit of a bummer in the summer. It's too bad you can't wash the kapok (which is why I replace the pillow every few years), so I layer 2 pillow cases on it to give a little more protection. When it has been time to replace my pillow I always hesitate because of the cost, but relent because it really provides the absolute best comfort for a side-sleeper like myself. I no longer wake with hip or shoulder pain, and I am less restless.

I had the adult sized bean that I've had for several years. The adult one is about a foot longer and it was so long it hung over the end of my bed. So I wanted a new one and this was my second purchase. This one is perfect! Just the right length for my 5' 9inch body and no hanging over the end of the bed.If you haven't tried this pillow it's the BEST! You can remove the filler if it's too full and it comes with a pillow case - what more could one want. It can be positioned many different ways and is very comfortable.

I am 5'2" and this Teen Bean Pillow is perfect for me and cheaper than the adult one. It is nice, firm, and perfect for leg and hip support when I sleep on my side. The pillow case isn't bad either. Definitely worth purchasing.
