I have been on the hunt for the perfect water bottle for a very long time. I wanted the time marker to keep me on track (I'm horrible at remembering to drink water). I wanted it to have a wide mouth so i could easily put ice in it because its beyond irritating when you can't fit any ice in there. I wanted it to be a full gallon so I wouldn't have to refill it at work (water fountain water is gross there). And most importantly, IT MUST BE DISHWASHER SAFE! I don't want some delicate foo foo thing that I have to buy some stupid special scrubber for because it's impossible to stick your hand in there and wash it. Besides I just feel better about the disinfecting power of a dishwasher. But that's just me. Anyway this water bottle is ALL THAT I ASKED FOR and more! The fruit infuser thingy fits perfectly in there AND IS ALSO DISHWASHER SAFE!!! I am so over hearing something is ok to put in the dishwasher and then pulling out a melted mess. I've become quite the cynic so I opened it and put it straight into the dishwasher. I pulled it out and took the pictures you see. Everything still looks exactly how it did before i washed! I'm so happy! No I want it in every color for my husband and friends. I'll never buy another brands water bottle again. (No I'm not dramatic, it's that good)I can confidently say all of this because of how attentive the brand is. I had an issue with the previous version/model and the company did not hesitate to mend the situation. I am so grateful to have had such a small issue resolved so quickly! I am confident that you will not be disappointed by the quality of product or customer service they have to offer.

Great jug. Plastic is thicker than most and feels very sturdy. If you fill to the cap this jug holds 2/3 of a gallon. If you fill to the first time stamp (7am) that is 1/2 gallon.If you are infusing, fill to cap or use less ingredients as the infuser tube is screwed to the underside of the drinking cap. On that note I love the infuser tube screws into the drinking cap as you can remove it without having a huge hole where most other types drop in and twist lock. After a certain amount of time infusing ingredients can get pretty nasty and stop flavoring the water. Beyond an amount of time those ingredients can start to bitter or ruin the flavor. The insert cap has wide, but thin, holes for water to escape no matter which way the bottle is turned.When cleaning, the mouth is not wide enough for a hand, so if you need to scrape something out you will need a long brush. Recommend not leaving any fruit or seeds long enough for them to stick to bottle. Shaking warm water and soap should always be enough to clean.Water flows at a comfortable rate and doesn't gush unless you tilt jug enough that more than 50% of the openings are releasing water. The drinking cap has side grooves that also hit a rim inside the jug mouth that stop the cap from dropping into the jub.The bottle cap is leak proof. After shaking the jug vigorously or storing the jug upside down I have had no leaking issues.If you are refrigerating the jug, I would recommend a sleeve as the jug will create a lot of condensation. Definitely keep it on some type of absorbing coaster if you don't want water damage on a table or other furniture.Great jug I would buy again and happily recommend to others.

I've really been wanting to drink more water, and figured having one bottle to have as a daily goal would help a lot so I could track my progress. I started looking at some of the prettier ones but saw that almost all the large water bottles on the market are not dishwasher safe, which is a non-starter for me --- I'm super iffy about water bottles and tumblers already because I don't feel like I can completely clean them, so being able to put it in the dishwasher to sanitize a few times a week is an absolute must if I'm going to use something for very long. I would have gotten this one solely based on that feature, but was also super pleased that it had a fruit infuser too which is an awesome bonus. Now that it's here, I've also found that the lid seems really heavy duty, the opening size is perfect and easy to use with my fridge's water dispenser, it's very easy to hold with the handle shape and size, and also a great volume in that it's a reachable goal and also is a manageable weight when full. The last bonus is that the fruit infuser (whether you want to put fruit in it or not) regulates the water coming out *perfectly* - I can drink as fast as I want to without it being too fast. *Super* happy with this purchase and will probably get another one for my boyfriend shortly.

Ok if you can get past the extremely douchey promotional video that almost made me not want to buy the jug for fear that I would become the guy who stares at his tattoos while lifting...It's a solid water jug. The fruit infuser and size were what drew me to it (plain water is a struggle for me, but love fruit infused!). Easy to hold, cap is steel and nice and sturdy. The fruit infuser is a little frustrating to fill and clean and manage, but that's true of any fruit infuser product I've found I imagine so it's hard to fault this jug for it.The downside is that drinking water with the infuser in the bottle can be challenging, especially as the water level gets lower... The little slots for the water to come through are placed in a way that always tends to make the water dribble up over the side of my lips, and when the water level gets lower the infuser doesn't really stay in place and makes drinking a little awkward... I wish the infuser fit more snug and didn't move.Ultimately, I've ended up just squeezing some juice into the bottle and drinking the water that way... It's still a more enjoyable experience than just using a large jug of Poland spring over and over and I'm still happy with the purchase, but I'm not sure i'd recommend to everyone.

During Covid, I’ve been WFH and been drinking a lot of coffee. I felt dehydrated from being indoors, lack of fresh air and the continual need to fill up on caffeine to keep from from being lazy. I realized I needed to make a drastic change to my hydration habits and decided to look for a big water bottle that I could fill up in the morning and sip on throughout the day. My goal is to drink a gallon per day. I came across many water bottles that were large and suitable to meet my goal but realistically, drinking that much water can get pretty boring taste wise then I seen this xbottle and it was perfect! Having the option to add fruits and herbs to give the water some flavour and add extra nutrients made this an easy choice. The infuser is large enough to add flavour without being overpowering and being removable is a plus. I decide when I want flavoured water and when I don’t. The half gallon is a great size for carrying I just fill it twice to meet my daily intake goals. The material is durable and thick. I washed it before I used it and it seems pretty easy to wash, the only downfall would be cleaning in and around the handle but I received a card to get a free cleaning brush with my honest review. All and all, well worth the purchase. Considering it’s durability, I can see myself using this for a very long time. On the road to healthy hydration and it really is a great feeling.
