KegcoKM11GM-3R Grain Mill with 11 lb. Hopper and 3 Rollers

Pro's: Solidly built mill. I've only used it once so far, but it worked flawlessly with a cordless drill. It ground right through 13 lbs. of malt with no problems. 3 rollers instead of 2. adjustable gap. great price compared to other 3 roller mills of this quality.Cons: 1. The assembly instructions are okay, but there are no instructions on how to adjust the gap between the rollers. In addition, there are no markings on the adjustment knobs to tell you how the gap has been adjusted. I had to find instructions/videos online for the Monster Mill 3 roller to adjust the gap since they are almost identical. I then marked the adjustment knob with a sharpie for future reference.2. The hopper could be bigger. While I don't make high gravity beers, I usually have a grain bill in the 13 - 15 lb. range for a 5-6 gallon batch. The hopper only holds 11 lbs. However, that actually seems fairly standard for mills. I understand that the Monster Mill hopper extension will work on this model, but have not tried it myself.3. The mill does NOT include the 4 bolts needed to attache it to a base nor does it come with a base. However, I made my own wooden base and located the bolts (m-5's I believe) by doing some internet research about making a Monster Mill base -- same concept and may even be an identical base, I don't know.Overall, even with the cons, the mill is great, particularly for the price.

If you're looking at other, more expensive 3 roller crushers, look no further! This thing is an amazing value and while I've only used this 3 brews so far, I see no reason to think this tank won't work flawlessly for years to come. I will follow up should something unforeseen happen but at this point I couldn't be happier with the performance, build quality (it is a tank!) and value. Paired with a low speed drill this thing is near perfect.I do wish that it either had a larger hopper or had an accessory to add a larger hopper to the top so you could just add all the grains at once but, that's pretty nit picky and just a lazy gripe.lol I've heard the other brands 3 roller hopper extension will work with this but haven't tried it....Overall.....buy it!

Easy to assemble, just as well because no instructions came with it. Fantastic fabrication, materials and overall quality. Using it the first time, I thought I had a dud. Rollers where not biting the grain and pulling thru. Tried different gap settings and no luck. Sat back, had a beer, scratched my head and then it hit me: bottom roller is not intended to be stationary BECAUSE it has BEARINGS! OK, so loosened the eye-bolts so not interfering with the 3rd roller so that it would spin -> and PRESTO! Perfect grind. Buy this mill. You will not be disappointed. And yes, it makes an excellent grist. Cheers!

I had (and still have) high expectations for this product. This is a brand that I trust and whose products I enjoy. This product, however, has left me kinda wondering... there was absolutely no printed documentation included with the item (it's a grain mill). There does seem to be some assembly required and although I consider myself a handy kind of guy, this is going to at least require a scratch and sniff or pop-up book with some minimum guidance! I'm left with a significant waste of my time now that I have to seek out some documentation online or at the very least a couple of detailed photos of the mill that I can work with. It's ever so slightly frustrating to say the least

Overall good mill, i have to say I dont like the 3 rollers because the top 2 main crushing rollers can not be adjusted. Only the 3 bottom roller can be adjusted, i ended up taking the 3rd roller out and using just the main 2 as to not over crush the barley. I would probably just by the 2 roller from here on but overall this is a good machine!

Easy to assemble, but the protective sheets are difficult to remove. I suggest gloves during assembly, the edges are very sharp. Cuts were obtained without noticing they had occurred. Quality of the device is stellar. I have brewed several 10 and 5 gallon batches for all grain beer, with no concerns. The mill is able to hang from the wall/ceiling as well. I would recommend the manufacturer to include a lightweight cover for the mill between uses... I find aluminum foil works well to keep bugs and dust out. Great product, would buy again.

This thing works amazingly well. I'm duly impressed. Crushes barley perfectly on its widest setting 0.063". Never a stuck sparge. Great item. I've only used it with the hand crank. I crush 12 lbs at a time with no hassles. I've since used the mill with an inexpensive electric drill, be advised that it requires a ½" chuck as the shaft is a tad larger than what will fit in my ⅜" chuck. It's still as good as before, except I'm less tired and it takes less time. I've brewed many, many batches of beer with this. It's allowed me to buy grain in bulk, which brought the cost of brewing a batch down nearly 50%. It's been reliable, durable and it performs well. It's not suitable for grains larger than barley, though. Buy it and enjoy a cold one!

Assembled it and tried it on corn. Did not work.

Solid 5 stars here. Comes with everything on the picture black base as well. Crushes my grain like a train. No flour or whatsoever. Awesome build quality.

Muy fácil de instalar si ya has tenido un molino de granos con anterioridad. No trae instructivo. Muele muy muy bien.
