A badge. They are embroidered on the adidas IJF uniform.

I am 100Kg and 174cm, would the 170 be good for me?

If you intend to wash it at 40c and then tumble dry then I would suggest 180. There is roughly 5-10% shrinkage in all gis although the adidas is not 100% cotton so slightly less. Remember that you do want it too short in the arms and not huge around the waist.
