Dyson Animal V6 Fluffy Cordless Vacuum with Attachments Some vacuums pick up large debris but lack the suction to pick up fine dust. Others capture the dust, but ride too close to the floor to do more than push larger dirt around. Leave it to Dyson to design a vacuum that does both beautifully, thanks to an innovative roller design. Add in a powerful 350-watt motor and 15 cyclones, and you have a recipe for clean like no other. Dyson does it again. the "Fluffy" option seemed to be the best fit, as it's main roller head is designed ...
I've been a big fan of Dyson products for some time. Not so much because of their looks or reputation (though I find them quite attractive, and their reputation seems very good), but because all of the Dyson products we've had to date in our home have just worked. So when I was in the market for a new vacuum for my 1200 sq foot, two story house, I decided on the Dyson D6 "Fluffy" model.Let me first state that our home is mainly snap laminate wood flooring and rolled linoleum type tile. We have no carpet save for a few area rugs and we have a large dog who likes to leave tufts of hair everywhere. With these considerations, the "Fluffy" option seemed to be the best fit, as it's main roller head is designed specifically for hardwood floors. So far, I'm truly enjoying this vacuum. The charging station that attaches to the wall saves a ton of space on the floor, and makes the vacuum easy to grab and always charged. Which means we use it regularly for everything. The copious amount of attachments make it great for pretty much any household task. It's particularly fantastic to grab to quickly vacuum out the car.I've found that because it's so convenient to grab, we tend to vacuum rooms of the house when they need it, and therefore, rarely vacuum the whole house at once. However, when not using the boost mode, we can get through all rooms of our modest home without needing to recharge in the middle.I like the boost mode feature a lot too. Not so much for vacuuming the floors, but when I use the small beater brush attachment for the car or the dog bed, I find it the boost makes it all the more effective.I would also like to mention that I really like the powered brush heads. There are two included (the main "fluffy" vacuum head, and the small beater brush head) and they both work really well compared to the non-powered versions which rely on airflow.Overall, I'd give this vacuum about a 4.75.Pros:+ Very versatile.+ Powerful enough to clean hard floors with the provided microfiber brush head+ Boost mode provides that extra little power when needed+ Love the wall mounted charger a lotCons:- I wish the wall mounted unit could hold more of the attachments (only holds the vacuum itself (with wand and brush head) and two additional attachments). However, that may make the wall mount larger which wouldn't really be ideal either.- Can be a bit fatiguing with my large hands. The handle isn't uncomfortable, but after vacuuming a couple rooms, I find the top of my hand where it presses into the body of the vacuum can get somewhat tired / sore.

I love my Dyson
I love my Dyson! This is my second Dyson. My first was a 59 Motörhead, and while I loved it for several reasons - great suction power, decent battery life, easy to use, cordless - I was really unhappy that it scratched my wood floors. When we recently refinished the wood floors, I couldn't risk using it anymore. I researched many cordless vacuums, but didn't see anything that seemed as good. Through the years I've purchase several other brands, but nothing worked as well as the Dyson. Some had decent suction, not quite as good, but the battery wouldn't maintain a charge over time.I found the Dyson V6 fluffy, and it seemed like a good option for my wood floors. So far, it's been great! No signs of scratching. One of the best features? I can use the same charging station and attachments as my older model! I'm able to use the old one still on my area rugs and carpet, and the new fluffy on the wood floors. The one big negative is the short run time - about 6 minutes using the fluffy attachment, but I'm able to get a decent amount of floor area vacuumed in one go. I don't mind vacuuming every day when I know it's only going to take me about 5 minutes.

The bomb-diggity! Buy it!
I purchased the Dyson V6 Fluffy Cordless Vacuum for myself in July of 2016. It is absolutely the best household tool I have ever owned. I am so crazy about it that 3 friends got one, and then I purchased this one for my sister for Christmas. She raves about it, calling it "the bomb diggity!" Vacuuming has always been such a chore, but I love this thing and vacuum daily. It is so convenient to use because it is lightweight and I don't have to contend with the length of a cord not reaching far enough or getting caught on furniture. The fluffy head is a dream to use on hardwood floors. No worries about a beater bar scratching or wearing down the wood over time. The cordless is as powerful as my Dyson upright, so I keep the cordless downstairs for wood and the upright upstairs for carpet. Speaking of stairs, furniture, and cars ... mine are the cleanest they have ever been thanks to the power and ease of use of the Dyson cordless vacuum. Anyway, I can't emphasize enough how much I love my cordless Dyson. It is worth every cent I paid for it, and then some. Don't know what I'd do without it!! Buy it now; you will not regret it!

We would like a complete refund for the cost of the defective vacuum
Our church bought this on June9,2019 for our new building which we moved into in Sept 2019. We have nothing but trouble with this vac. It pulses. It never runs completely. We contacted Dyson and they said clean the filter, which we did even though it wasn’t dirty. They sent us a new battery pack and it still pulses. The Dyson rep recommended we return it where we purchased it. It was purchased for the church. But because we didn’t move into the church until the end of September we didn’t figure out we had a problem until October and it just didn’t get dealt with. Our first call to Dyson was in October. They will have a record of that if you contact them. This is not a cheap vacuum, it was a lot of money for a small church. Dyson is supposed to be a great vacuum, but it was anything but. To say the least we were very disappointed in your product and the fact that you only give a month window to return for a refund.North Fryeburg Community Chapel, Fryeburg, ME.
