At first, my parrot was terrified of it. Not sure why. But we spent a few weeks petting, cuddling, and talking to the box to show the bird it was safe (yes we looked ridiculous). We finally got the parrot to enter the box by putting his favorite treats closer and closer and finally in the box. It's very well made and soft to the touch. The fuzzy blue "lips" on the entrance are easy for my parrot to grab with his beak or foot. The carrying handle is strong and convenient for carrying or hanging in the cage. Yes, it is falling apart but that's due to my parrot, not the construction of the box; he'll chew holes in anything. We fill it with chew toys and my parrot loves to spend hours inside. The box handily contains all the debris from chewing.

My green cheek conure love to go to sleep in the nest house. Its so adorable. The only two things I dislike about it, that the inside is missing a cover to keep the bird from bitting off the material that is exposed and it does come with something to put it in the cage and keep it from moving or to hang straight. But my bird Kiwi adore it, and cant sleep without it, it makes her feel safe.

Bought it for my parrot to keep him warm at night. It was way big with not support, the bottom part of the hut is not framed in and it doesn't come with any clips to hang on the cage. The inside is not soft like the outside and the inside of it has a strong smell of chemicals, so i recommend washing before using. I will be returning this item.

This is way too big for a budgie parakeet, my bird is literally afraid of it. The small that I got can fit in like 10 parakeets. It’s also only “soft” on the outside which defeats the purpose of it being comfortable for a bird to snuggle in. What I didn’t like the most was the horrible stench it came with, the material reeks of chemicals! I have washed it twice in the washing machine and it still smells horrid.The design is cute and I like that it doesn’t have those dangerous cheap hanging strings on hooks for birds to get injured (Happy Huts) but it just needs to be smaller, have more padding inside, and NOT stink of chemicals

I bought this bird nest for my 4 week old Green Cheek Conure and he loved it. At first it seemed to big but when I put the conure in it, it was just perfect. It has enough room for him to stretch his wings. I washed it before using it because it had a strong rubbery smell, but after one wash the smell went away.

My bird hates it.. scared to death of it. He must think its the cave of doom..its made well. Looks nice. Very soft.Wish my crazy parrot would use it.
