Whoever buys this CD, either because they're Camilo's fan or because they're discovering his music, will not be disappointed! My parents used to have the vinyl LP version of this CD when I was a kid and I remember being mesmerized by these songs and now I,m glad I own this. To the reviewer who was disappointed by the sound quality on this, I just want to say that I also noticed those variations in volume levels on songs but that's the way it sounds on the original LP version from back in the day! I'm guessing they used the same master for this CD version and the cleaner CD sound make those variations more noticeable! In my opinion, this album sounds good and I definitely reccommend it! Hope this helps!

I must disagree with reviewer Nancy Erickson, because this CD sounds as if it was transferred directly from a cassette tape that was not in good condition, with defficient remastering. The volume and pitch of certain songs goes up and down as though someone was playing with it as the cd was being recorded, and becomes disastrous in song #4 ( Callados), a duo with Angela Carrasco. I am surprised that no other reviewer has remarked on this, for this is a distracting and annoying flaw.

The CD sounds better than the tape cassette I bought long ago. I think Camilo's love songs combine qualities of tenderness with unselfconscious confidence from knowing himself.
